Very funny! More excuses I can use to avoid the harsh rays of the sun. Thanks for that!
I'm curious to see how a new Crash game would play. The original design is pretty dated, but stray to far and u run the risk of making a game that's not Crash... Here's hoping though. I love the little dude and miss those old mascot commercials.
What made Spiderman 2 so great was the fluidity of movement. Webslinging is such a unique travel method, and they way SM2 used the shoulder buttons to individually shoot webs and required your web to stick to building made the game fast and fun. The other spiderman games have slacked off in that regard and have been the worse for it. I don't trust many companies to tackle it, but Suckerpunch? *drools*
How does hearthstone compare to magic the gathering? Is it simple to pick up, or would I have to learn how to read more legalese? I love collectible card games, so I could see myself enjoying the hell out of this.
You know, I'm not necessarily nostalgic for MW, but I am excited for it. To me, nostalgia doesn't just come from a game or song or whatever, it comes from how I associate that thing with a specific time in my life. As such, I have more nostalgia for Rainbow Six Vegas than MW - spent hours playing terrorist hunts with my suite mates in college, and I can't think about that time in mylife without that game springing to my mind. But, MW was my favorite Call of Duty, and the only reas...
Man, I was miserable when they canceled 1313. It looked like an Uncharted game set in the Star Wars galaxy. Why the hell wouldn't someone pick it back up?
I can't wait to play this. I so badly want my personal favorite - Uncharted 2 - to be dethroned.
I wholeheartedly agree...but I can't help myself with uncharted 4. If that's broken next week I'll quit day one releases forever! I swear, I really really mean it this time!
Ugh, that sucks that it won't be sold separately. Makes me wonder how confident they are Infinite Warfare. My favorite mission in the recent releases was the one aboard the space station, where you shot at villains while floating in zero g. (Well, that and the scuba mission). If they can take that and maintain it across the length of a whole game, I'll be impressed.
Nice Review! The reviewer just saved me money. I've loved Star Fox since the SNES, but this doesn't look like something I'd want to play
Agreed.
Damn right it's a good thing. It's not very often you get to play a game that so perfectly realizes the old cyberpunk genre. It looks like Bladerunner, or how I pictured Neuromancer would look.
These are the kinds of decisions Nintendo makes that keeps them from being relevant these days.
I hope they can make this work because a multiplayer, PvP horror experience is too cool an idea to die out. Hopefully parents groups have been sufficiently numbed in recent years, since a game in which you play a serial killer and slaughter teens would definitely stir some things up. Toss in vr headset compatability and this could be the beginning of an awesome digital hide-and-go-seek experience. With machetes. If its half as cool as my imagination wants it to be, I'm sold.
What is it about horror titles that encourage an insane amount of sequels? Will we one day have game crossovers too - Freddy Fazbear vs Pyramidhead vs Wesker? Actually... That sounds awesome. I'm down with that
This series is kind of an adaptation of Red Dawn, huh? Which is great, I always liked the cheesieness of that franchise (two movies counts as a franchise, right?).
An FPS that favors a single player narrative rather than competitive multiplayer? Sign me up!
Yeah, I agree. Bombarding gamers with promises and hyperbole to try to build up hype often leads to extremely high expectations and disappointment with the final product. But doing something unique and trickling info out when it most relevant is a fantastic way to build excitement for a title. Also, I like that developers have to work harder - there's nothing worse than a developer relying on the past history of a title and falling into laziness.
Eh... for my money, the Commodore 64 is the king of all game consoles...but that's only because it's fun to say.
Medieval! There's a game I almost forgot about! Would love to see it again!
Damn, what an exciting year it's been. Only June and already we have some serious contenders. Of these 6, I'd put my $ on UC4, but I would love to see a smaller company pull an upset.
