that's what happened to me 4 days ago. my ps3 died with cod5 inside. i can't take it out of the ps3. i bought my ps3 on day 1 so it's more than a year...but i'm lucky, here (Italy) we have 2 years warranty. so blockbuster replaced my broken ps3 (but not cod5) for free.
they gave me a new ps3....but after 3 hours my new ps3 die again, this time the console didn't recognize the discs....wtf sony....3 ps3 in 3 days....blockbuster replaced my ps3 again and this seems to work (for now).
