So, if anyone here was in the beta, does all your data transfer to the full game, or do the servers need to be up first before you can check?

I was just playing the new beta, and I'm just rushing through the tutorials to get all the stuff, and on one of the tutorials there was a japanese announcer guy. it didnt happen last time on the old beta. has that happened to anyone else?
I have a backwards compatible 80gb ps3. If I swap out the hard drive with a larger hard drive I wouldn't lose backwards compatibility, would I? I don't think I would lose it, I just want to be 100% sure.

mirror's edge can't be "average in reviews". it isn't even out yet, so no one can review it. I actually think it looks pretty good.
I personally didn't like Twilight Princess. I guess it just felt too goal oriented and serious compared to previous ones. I missed the fun exploring in Windwaker and all the sidequests in Ocarina. I guess Twilight Princess just felt too different.
