it does affect us in many ways :
1.there would be some compromise on the ps3 version
2.ps3 sales would suffer = less support for ps3= brown end of the stick for us
3. a lesser reason to own a ps3
4.how would YOU feel if gears, bioshock and your beloved halo went multiplatform??
microsofts only chance of beating the ps3 is by snatching OUR games! gta was first......ff13 second....and now wait for mgs4....thanks ms for handicapping the games industry (yes ff13 NEEDS bluray) and thanks sony for fking us up!

no company is pure evil....they re all in there to make money ...all of em...sony, ms, ea, konami.....the question is...how do they achieve their objective...do they BUY the competition and shaft the consumer with inferior products ? (lookin at you ms and ea), or do they innovate and come up with something extraordinary which is both good for the consumer and the company (apples ipod, sony s psone etc)
sorry to say, but the comment is lame. graphics of bioshock are great. gameplay is good. lets just praise the lord that one of 360 s gems is coming on our beloved console.
blu ray drive? check. quad core cpu? how about a powerful cpu with 7 SPE's? check. 1TB HDD? how about an upgradeable HDD? check. well done sony, you are equipped to compete with the xbox 2 (xbox360=xbox1.5, xbox 720=xbox 2)
for a true review of mgs4, read PSM3 UK....."arguably the best in the series", "a classic masterpiece" but "ever so slightly disappointing". they gave it a well deserved 95.

1. had johnny and meryl being killed in the forum while proposing to each other
2. had raiden being massacred by the frogs
3 mei ling biting a bullet from atop the missouri
4 snake shooting himself AND the player must do it.
5. otacon remains alive

what is wrong with you ppl? ps3 flops? lol...what about the 360 then? the 360 is completely dead in japan....it has lost europe (even in lifetime sales considering 360 came out a year early), and ps3 would catch up to 360 by the end of the year. i am a full blown sony fan. but hey that comment was lame. i never played just cause 1, but having seen the video reviews, it looks rly good and looks like fun.
do we really care if mgs4 comes out for 360 or not? we already played the sh!t out of the game so for us ps3 owners, mgs4 is history. its a win win situation for us....if it does come out for 360, they have to swallow their criticism and acknowledge its the greatest game ever AND we can laugh our a$$es of at their inferior version. :D
im a ps3 gamer but a gamer first and foremost. I take a stand against this kind of bullsh!t and condemn all types of fanboyism, even from sony supporters.......still funny as hell though. if everyone was an xbox fan or a sony fan (note not fanBOY) then we could all have mature and constructive arguments, whilst still being able to take sides, argue and make the occasional tongue in cheek comment.
you cant really compare the two .....gears is just pure mindless fun aimed at toddlers, casual gamers and ppl who dont have enough time to devote to gaming and just want quick bouts of action. mgs4 on the other hand is on a whole different level (not necessarily better or worse, but its in a league of its own) mgs4 defies genres, videogame norms and anything we expect...it is aimed at mature and intelligent audiences...an audience who can appreciate games as a medium of passing knowledge, as ...
let me clarify some things...Ppp never played mgs4 coz his mummy only bought him the core 360...thats all you re getting buddy. stop bashing games coz u cant play them (i only own a ps3 and i cant play bioshock but i acknowledge its a great game). you re a disgrace to the majority of 360 owners.
@ ali the brit....i finished the game in 24 hrs but 8 of those are cutscenes.
you can speed through the game in less than 5 hours ....just as you could have a quickie with the girlfriend....but wheres the fun in that ? mgs is a game you need to take your time with and savour each detail, each nuance and every bit of love that went into making this epic experience (calling mgs a 'game' on par with other games is a disservice and an insult) nuff said
i would ave loved if snake swallowed a bullet and the game ended there with otacon and sunny staring in the sun. the final hour where we see (spoiler) those 3 ppl talking, seemed like , unnecessary. if i were kojima, i would have had johnny and meryl murdered in that forum, meiling having a bullet from ray, raiden being massaccred by the frogs and snake dying by biting the bullet, but i guess this is kojima, not quentin frikkin tarantino .
