Article states it sold more copies than combined sales of RR 1 and 2 . Well no chit , it was free . I bet the demo of RR 1 had the same amount of downloads . The article never stated how much money they made and hopefully it fails and it reverts back to P2P.
I actually bought RR 1 and 2. This one was free and I have no intentions of ever buying add ons that would end up costing me more than a retail game.
4.99 would have been a sweet price for the full game. They should have given us 2 versions. One that costs a one off fee and one that is based on freemium model or even better, just a demo.
People saying they need to see the console before buying seem to forget there is E3, Gamescon and TGS. Plenty of time before the system drops for people to lay eyes on it.
Knowing square enix, I expect it be exclusive..................and then just a year before release they'll announce it as multi platform .
its not 87 gig, its 43 gig. you need 87 gig for download and install, once install you get back 43 gig.

Alienating your current fan base is not a smart thing to do. It is them that keep a franchise alive. Just look at franchises like silent hill, konami alienated its fan base in trying to garner more sales and suffered a heavy hit on sales.
Also look at RESI, and DMC series. And final fantasy. Who is to blame for this? the company that makes them of course.

The PS3 never over shadowed God of War 2 , I think the same can be said about future PS3 titles.
Does anyone remember watching Aliens? how many one liner's were present in that movie which was one of the reason that movie is so great. And this is supposed to be a sequel to that. In fact i was looking forward to the one liners as reminder to aliens.
steam has pre loading where it downloads the game before launch day.
Every year you hear how gaming retail revenues are down, but of course they would be because more and more people are buying the game off the respective console stores. Same applies to PS All stars.
Bioshock didn't have multiplayer and yet it is one of the best games this gen.
If a game doesn't need multiplayer then there is no need to tack it on. How many people actually play the multiplayer to bioshock 2?

I got 2x evga gtx 680 in my rig, it cost me a bit of money but I'm really happy with the purchase. I also have a PS 3 and I will be getting the PS 4. I really hope that people on here stop this stupid arguments about which is better from both sides. Trust me you can enjoy both at the same time and also enjoy if you only have one of them.
