I just can't believe you people!
For all your bratty, self-entitled whining and your demands for a super-happy ending, at the end of the day Bioware makes the games they want to make, and they have ultimate creative control over their own content. If you disagree fine - but making stupid petitions, stamping your feet, and throwing your toys out the pram won't change that. Sometimes people die, period!
More importantly, sometimes dark endings work...
But you DO get closure, that's the thing I don't get about you people, how much more closure do you want?
All your efforts eventually lead to a choice of three different options, you choose one and live with the consequences, that's the closure. How does this 'make the rest of the story pointless'? The story was needed to get you into the position of making those ultimate choices, there was nothing 'rushed' about it!
