I loved (!) BF:BC2 and got hooked, BF3 was really good after some minor issues at launch. But BF4 has been plagued by game-breaking issues; some get fixed but the major ones simply haven't been addressed in a reasonable / acceptable manner. Count me in those who will not preorder the next game, I'll truly be in wait & see mode....

The article says that the ads are in loading screens, not something like an in-game billboard and the like. I'm fine with something in-game like that, but in loading & home screens... it's a bit much. Then when you factor in premium costs AND how broken the game has been...

Funny... I just got off from playing hours with my brother without issue. TF has been a ton of fun so far!
I didn't preorder at launch but bought XBO in December. I do feel a little burned since I bought it mostly in anticipation of Titanfall; had I known about this I would have just waited.
Still, we've got to admit just how bad it is for our gamer brethren down in Australia. I would think that it has got to be cheaper to import everything from the US et al than to buy down the street. Sad, very sad...
Wow, at a lot more than forty nine cents I'd have recommended this game. I thoroughly enjoyed it: solid mechanics and a great storyline. Pick it up my friends to the north!

I'm hopeful that they include 1080i output too, I'd like to use the tv features with my DirecTV but can't stand the downscaling to 720p (my tv only accepts 1080i then it upscales to p)

I'm 43 with a ps3, 4, xbox one and a Vita for when I travel for work. Been playing like your dad, since Atari (some great memories there!).

Since 1.6 enabled them, my pulse elite headset cuts out a lot during bf4 matches. Is that bf4 or the firmware? I would think firmware, maybe this would help?

@ITPython hey, maybe nitpicking here, but the 60G version was the one with four USB ports and the card slots; I think you may have the 40G version (if it was original launch)

I was pumped about BF4 and bought it and Premium; preordered both....
