Well said, if I had the time and the monies I would own all consoles and subscriptions.
The last gen I owned all three consoles was in the PS2 gen.

I am always a little reluctant to update out of fear of something being corrupted. Especially when I upgraded my PS4's HDD to a 1tb.

At best, you can get $30-$40 for a New Release. Example; I bet, Rare Replay is trading in right now for $30. +PowerUp card (10% What What!!..../s)
I bet this IS spot on, If I traded in all 5 PS4 games I own, I would walk out with $200...Trade In Credit.

I worked at a Gstop when I was younger. I have many gamer stories, but I once expressed my dislike for Halo in the store to customer's/employee's or whatever. One "gentleman" said I should keep my mouth shut about Halo, because "I was going to get my ass kicked."

Few can deny Uncharted's greatness.
I don't like Halo, or Gran Turismo/Forza (I can't get into driving games) but I recognize them as great games from their sales and awards respectively.
I've got 7 and 3,262.
Expect this trend to continue well into next year when Uncharted 4, Horizon ZD, and Dreams drop.

The D-Pad has been across from the Face buttons since the NES, why switch it up now?
You can't tell me anyone has ever preferred the D-pad on any Xbox controller ever. The reason is where the low Dpad is placed. It's why it's almost impossible to play street fighter with the 360/X1 Dpad and face buttons.
Why is asymmetry better?
Depends on the game, I prefer to use the D-pad and face buttons with Street Fighter. But I prefer to use the analog-stick and face buttons with Mortal Kombat.

I agree the DS3 was to small, and no where near as ergonomic as it should have been that gen. Sony corrected this with the DS4. The speaker and touchpad made the DS4 wider and spread out the analog sticks.
Truly it's a matter of preference, I prefer symmetry. Like the rest of the human body.

Yes some games are like GOW use both the top analog and face buttons, that's why I used Super Mario to explain why the D-pad was originally used with the face buttons. So I like most people got used to having the D-pad being across from the face buttons, and the Sega switches it up the Dreamcast, for no real good reason. I just want a good reason.
