Cyberpunk 2077, ever since this game was revealed i have not been able to stop thinking/talking about it. I loved the Witcher series and can't wait to take the plunge into cyberpunk. I was so happy that it was finally revealed. I can't wait to play it next year. Keep it up Cd Project Red.
Telltale closing their doors was probably the worst news for me. I mean their games were getting a little stale from not changing their formula up any, but they sure could tell a hell of a story. I liked the point and click esq style of their games, but still had you on the edge of your seat to find out what happens next. Telltale you will be missed.
Cd project red. The witcher dlc is awesome and most of their other dlc is free to download. And i cant wait it for cyberpunk
Bungies handling of Destiny 1&2. Shame.
David Hayter has to be one of my all time favorites.
Nolan North comes in at a very close 2nd.
Resident eveil 1 for me would have to have some of the worst in gaming history. Such a good game though, but that audio/voice acting is abismal.
Bloober team, for layers of fear. Probably one of last years greatest hits in my opinion. I could not put it down. Very rarely dose that happen.
I would have to say cod, infinity ward definetly dropped the ball towards the end of their cod regime. Almost no story was good. And activision kinda choked the life out of that series. Thank god it got handed off every other year. Im sure theres worse out there, this is what comes to mind now.
Theres so many good creators. I would have to say the minds behund rockstars hits. They really know how to immerse someone in their games. I can play gta5 and rdr2 all day, just wish i had all day. Rockstar really knows how to take the time and put out a top quality hit.
I played it again last night, and comfirmed my feelings. Crash has some of the worst mechanics, and the whole concept is just kinda throwed off. My kiddos like him kinda. But as a whole hes at the bottom of the cool list with my kids. Way behind sonic and kirby.
Geralt of Rivia. i mean come on he is a total badass. His character progresses over his story, physically and his character as a whole. I know we control most of how he interacts with people, but its nice to see that progression in a game. Plus the game is just plain good. Theres so many other characters i would have chosen also, but he is at the top of the list.
Vr has a long way to go, but the potential is most definetly there. My whole family loves vr, kiddos could care less about the graphix. I on the other hand prefer the higher end resolution of the vive pro. The immersion in vr is next to none. Developers are finding new way to implement their games inyo vr. It is definetly still in its infancy, really hoping it takes off and dosen't become a fad.
Fps, ive always been more immersed and just had more fun with them. Throw in some rpg elements like fallout 4, and thats my jam.
Loot crates and micro transactions. Developers and publishers are getting to greedy, but we allow it with how many actually purchase these things. Its ludacris! What happened to paying 50-60$ for a game and that was it. Now there is more cost over the next year of owning a game than at the origional purchase point.
Wishing there was more of a presence in video games. Yes there is vr but for those of us that can't use vr for physical reasons. Immersion is big for me and love getting lost in a game for hours becoming the character im playing. Good 7.1 surround and a large clear screen help. But hoped technology was advanced enough to go beyond wearing a teathered vr headset, and more like how gamer depicts a person being immersed into a video game. Im not saying go as far as that movie takes it. But ...
Indies for sure have advanced to the point where some almost rival AAA production titles. And have more creative expression over some with huge publishers looking over their devs shoulders.
Farcry, was such a good premise, but the controls and new venture into open worlds. Made it one of my favorite games and worst games of all time.
Would have to agree, a link to the past is my all time favorite game.
At the time was my go to game, even now.
Legend of zelda and super mario bros were some of my favorite memories when i first started gaming. Duck hunt was always my favorite too easy enough that is came on the same cartridge as mario bros.
There's so many to chose from, but Red dead 2 I think is my game of the year. I didin't like it at first, but the game grew on me over time. My daughter absolutely loves the game. We have fun telling each other about what we do in each others save games. The story gets pretty good after chapter two, beautiful photo realistic graphics. gameplay is awesome. The super realism is a hindrance and refreshing at the same time. Overall the game is really good if you can get past some of its ...
