That Cant be true? I bought BF4 on release day and entered the china rising dlc code the same day. I had no problen downloading the content on my ps3 nor ps4. The problem I had was finding the place to download it on the ps4. I had to download it from the psn and not the bf4 store page.

Or Even instead of having it shut off period, make it an option for xbox one owners. If you dont want always online opt out, and if online is your thing opt in. I just would have liked to see the system they had in place. Because some of the ideals sounded awesome, family sharing aspect, discless gameplay. etc.

I agree 100 percent, I was going in for both PS4 and Xbox One. I was on the fence about xbox one, but im willing to try anything. After todays xbox one news, im sold xbox with no doubts. So now all in for next-gen!

Who cares if it was a anti-piracy measure. I love my xbox, I love my PS3, and I love my wii U. I want to see all these companies that make these game systems I love flourish. I feel the same way as you. I definitely in the future will purchase both systems. My first purchase will be a the next xbox and probably during tax time I will scoop up the PS4.
