By all means if they offer a legitimate online experiance this time I'd gladly pay. If they want to keep the current state of their online back in 2004 then I'm not payin.
Liking a game has nothing to do with thinking it will flop. I might buy Dreams, it will be interesting to build 3D cities and such but the simplicity of LBP was that your 8 year old cousin or dad could jump in, run and jump and beat most of the levels with you. Dreams is niche in that it takes the LBP creation process further which is great for the artistic type but bad for the casual jump in and play type.

Low end PS4 games hover around the 30-40m budget range which is probably what this is under. Factoring in marketing lets say this game puts MM on the hook for 50mil. Do you think 1 million people will buy this game? I doubt it. This is assuming they charge $60 for it. If it's $30-$40 that is even more they have to sell. I just don't think it's worth the investment when they could be producing something more like Tearaway or LBP which is much more marketable
No it's not lmao. sculpting and making 'dreams' is not at all like LBP.
They only made 2 LBP games. I would love them to create IP but it has to be realistic and marketable. How do you market sculpting with a Move controller and making strange dreams? It's extremely niche and will surely flop sales wise.
This game is going to be a colossal failure. It's interesting but the amount fo money being poured into this extremely niche game is silly.
They had a great thing with LBP and seemingly got bored with it. Was hoping they would make LBP 3D and have 3D create your own levels but instead I get this.
PS3 has been getting quality games ever since PS+ launched. The argument that PS4 is too new is baseless. Theres bargain bin games AAA they could give out besides cruddy indies.

It's become very 'hip' to predict this game will be a failure. It has a passionate fanbase, is well known yet probably suffered from over exposure early, delays, and high expectations. Thus we get dumb af articles by out of college writers with this 'HOT TAKE'.
It might be a disappointment but only because some people are literally hoping it is a UNIVERSE SIM. It's a planet exploration and discovery game that's about it.

Boo hoo. If you want to protest dont buy it. Ever take an economics class in college? As a business, Sony sets prices on what people are expected to pay to generate the most profit. Obviously, a sizeable amount of people are paying this price or they would drop the price down. Don't blame Sony, blame people who are willing to pay $10-15 for a Ps2 game. (Which if you are trying to buy on ebay are probably around 2-3x more expensive)

Not compared to PS3 when they get full AAA games. It's been two years since the PS4 has been out, so using the "it's too soon for them to offer big games on PS+" as an excuse is getting far-fetched. We should be getting games like Knack and Killzone by now
After Resogun, Outlast, and Dont Starve right after launch, PS+ ps4 games have been crud.

Any idiot with an ounce of logic would know Nintendo is waiting until at least late November/early December to eliminate most of the wiiU stock before announcing their new console. Announcing it now before the holiday season makes zero sense and would just hurt their Q4 more.
