I'm playing Gestalt and loving it (other jrpgs i liked this gen were Vesperia and lost odyssey).. i would recommend it to anyone..
i like:

>different gameplay.. 2d platformer, isometric, resident evil fixed camera.. hell even reading stuff and answering riddles..

>replay value.. you need to play it 3 or 4 times to get everything

it's not like MS suddenly came up with the idea.. they promoted reach beta access through ODST before odst came out..

dunno about the ps3 asian version... but the 360 Jap version has English menus and voices.. the ingame text and achievements are in japanese though so it's a pain to learn how to play.. but after you figure out the controls the game is fully playable..
the game is good but the problem is that it feels lacking somehow since its a wii port.. you will see a lot of 4-5sec loading screens when you do the side missions or before/after any cut-scene..
sorrta true.. and most games don't even fully utilize a dvd9.. but then again you just cant go wrong with having extra space on the disc like the blueray..

I'm fine with natal as long as they don't force it with hardcore games.. seriously why don't they just add wireless keyboard/mouse support for games instead of going for all this motion control BS. it'll make a lot of FPS gamers really happy..
