If that the case then the VITA is doing so much better. Not only did it sell more VITA then 3DS's in two days but its launch games are getting better scores then the 3DS launch games. If it keeps up this momentum it will surpass the 3DS's week sales. Its pathetic people trying to pass off 2 days sales into a week of sales. Just give it up.
Did Sony say that? I don't remember Sony saying that they are pining all their hopes on the VITA to counteract the the things that happened to them. I am sure they hope next year will be better but don't act like this their last ditch attempt before they break apart completely or something
Exactly what I have been saying. Who here plays Angry Birds or any phone game for more then 20m to 30 minutes. I can play GOW or MS for hours. These things are NOT gaming devices. They are NOT comparable. My toaster makes toast and I COULD try to make toast in my oven but I won't because I have a toaster.

So the logic of this is because the VITA sold 50K less then the 3DS that automatically means the smart phone and tablets are taking over? So far no one has any solid proof that this is happening. How can you compare older systems to newer ones. You expect the newer systems with more features and power to run the same battery life as a GBA? Besides the only reason these companies skimp on the powerful batteries is that putting one in would probably sky rocket the price of the device.

Its not that bad. Once you have the auto guns set up they think twice about trying to run you down. Besides you can dodge it if you move away at the right moment. If you dodge the initial attack they usually can't turn around fast enough to try again and that is usually when I take the RAZR down with my gun or rocket launcher.
But anyone know if you can destroy the shield once they set it up? I had a problem with some guys setting up a base above us and raining beams dow...

Not sure why anyone thinks Nintendo fans will be swayed to buy the VITA. I am sure it won't be that bad. That is one of the good things about being a first party studio belonging to Sony.You are working very closely with everyone. ND probably already basically knows what type of specs they might working with plus they have the other studios to help them work out any kinks and bumps along the way. A studio within Sony will be more used to dealing with them and know the inner workings. This time will be different from the PS3
