The best? At no point in time was it the best. It was constantly overshadowed by SF, MvC and BB.
I admit, it has an entertaining story mode but once that's over you're left with a VS. engine that makes me wish I was playing a better game.

I would pay a considerable amount extra for them to put in PS1,2 and 3 hardware for 100% PlayStation playability. It'd save me a ton of room. But they'd have to do it right. The PS1 and 2 playback on the PS3 adds a considerable amount of input lag.

That's an excellent case for why story mode is irrelevant. The game itself is terrible.

I'm pretty indifferent. The only real thing that can come out of this is this guy pushing for Sonic in the next Smash Bros. game.

Genius. The iPad iPhone etc are absolutely fine for what they do. The games however are all reminiscent of the games I used to play on miniclip.com and an only touch device will never be better or even close to buttons.

Hmmm... It's intriguing but the REAL move is to get the cheapest one possible and use the saved money on a Terabyte. Swapping it out BEFORE you even turn it on.
