You completely missed my point. I'm not saying get one or the other (though on principle alone the Xbox One is screwing people) I'm saying this mad rush to get the new systems is ridiculous because there's virtually nothing to play yet unless you're a super fan of Killzone or Killer Instinct.
Any "real gamer" (what a stupid term) would be smart enough not to move to the new box until there's a game or two worth playing on it.

See, I don't really care all that much about mocap as far as facial stuff goes. Let an acrobat or whatever do the action and do the faces some other way. Hearing the 24 guy's voice when Snake talks just feels wrong, it seems like a majorly backwards move when they kept (basically) the same cast since the late 90's and suddenly switch the main character's voice at an integral moment.

If it's on PC I have even less of a reason to get a next gen console.
It will almost definitely be HDCP protected. Look into HDCP stripping. You can still retain HDMI throughout by buying certain boxes.
The reduced quality and input lag you'd get from doing this is horrendous.
PS4 really got the shaft with ustream. Though in reality you're probably better off streaming with a dedicated device than directly on the console.

I'm really just hoping the game stands on its own without this stuff. I don't want upgrades, I don't want to level up I just want to play.
I don't want this community BS and these 2nd player help gimmicks. I want solid core gameplay mechanics.
Now maybe they can go back and make a skill based Ratchet game like the first one. No more level ups! Leave it up to me to win. The other games are all piss easy because once you find the right gun and level it all the way up all you need is turrets and that one gun.
