So the other option was Sony betting on Microsoft or Nintendo?
Except for if you actually read through the thread instead of automatically jumping for joy about the fact that the PS4 version runs smooth like fanboys do, you'd have noticed just as many xbox users claiming they have no issues just like the ps4 users. Sad how people see a title and jump for joy without actually reading through any replies/comments. Pretty normal though for tools around here
Yes, if you don't have problems on the xbox then you're not allowed to comment. It's the N4Gaf way
Soooo... are you posting this just to confirm Bytor's comment of "Why are you using the lower resolution console version." cause it still stands that the xbox version is of lower resolution according to your quote. I'm confused
Maybe Sony wants to see little more return on profit before commiting their studios to these type of games. While I will say that I'm not a fan, I haven't given any of the older team ico games enough time to really get into them. I can see though that this is a fairly niche market and the time required from the studio to make the game might not be profitable enough in Sony's eyes. They're a big company that is successfully climbing out of the hole and they have games and studi...
The First Guardian?
I'm mostly an xbox fan but damn man. Pshhh. I don't know where you're from but around my parts people don't have money just laying around to "prove the haters" wrong. My PS4 friends are just as broke as my xbox ass. We can only buy the games we want. Unfortunately, my friends own more games than I do. Can you guess why? It's not because they're trying to prove anything to me.
So he says he's only running a 100mbit router but his bandwidth meter maxes out at 10mbps. I'm wondering if his bandwidth is actually showing 10 MBps which would be maxing his 100mbps connection. He should try a gigabit router. I'm still in the process of running CAT6 to the xbox. I don't even want to test this over wireless
That way they can REALLY show off the master race version lol
I played it at a friends and thought it was dull. Since I played it and still thought it was bad, am I allowed to comment? Or am I just being salty because I don't have the same opinion about the game as you? The consensus on that game didn't come about because nobody played it. The PS4 has some great exclusisves and is the reason why I'll be picking one up, but definitely not for that game. Maybe when I can get it for $5 or so, that's what I usually pay for my cinematic exper...
People complain about remasters because they don't want to pay TWICE for a game they already have. With BC you play it for free if you already own it. You keeping up?
Right? To be honest, I wish I never would have gotten rid of my ps3 consoles when I moved. Still a few gems I need to play. If the ps4 could do BC I would have bought one by now. Still plan to this holiday season :) Multi platform gaming FTW!!!
Does it matter? I mean will it affect whether or not you purchase the game if it goes to other platforms as well? Either way, it'll be on PS4 and PC first i'm sure
Yes, but would you really rather have these AAA studios working on remasters? I like remasters myself but if the money could be spent on newer IP's or something more substantial, I'd rather have the option of just replaying the old version through emulation so the studios could spend their time and resources elsewhere.
Probably because those are the 3 games that supposedly WON E3 for Sony yet there is no REAL timeline announced. Quite honestly, i'd still like to see something definitive that TLG was running on a PS4 instead of PS3
I know this may seem like way way out there but.......ever heard of a console breaking down?
Scenario; I have a ps3 and about 10-15 games. Sure if my ps3 breaks I could go buy another. Or........if the ps4 could play my ps3 games also I would likely get a PS4 so I could play new games but still have OFFLINE access to my old games without paying
This got approved? Oy N4Gaf
I take it you have no idea the technical feat that emulating 3 PPC cores at 3.2ghz on 6-1.75ghz x86 cores is. Anybody with the slightest bit of a computer science background would know this is a HUGE undertaking. While I'm not denying this could have been done in the beginning, I don't doubt that this emulator took quite the team of programmers to implement.
Not everyone has xbox slims pal. Read above and you'll notice my comment about owning SEVEN xbox 360's. All well vented in a house that gets no hotter than 73 degrees. Out of those 7, 4 failed out of warranty. 1 with a bad drive was fixed under warranty, and currently have 2 slims in different rooms in my house. i DID have a 360 in my living room, but that can go to a spare room now that I'll likely be able to play the 360 games I like on my One.
Such as? Genuinely interested as I plan on pickup up a ps4 this holiday season
