Crazy to me... like the game makes hiking interesting and it holds steady for awhile. I'm probably 30 hrs in. I just made it to the mountaineer without BB and I have to play another game at this point I'm bored to death. I think a break could be good for me though. I spent a lot of time trying to level equipment like the speed and all terrain skeleton, as well as the canteen taking standard orders. Losing BB also sapped a pretty interesting gameplay mechanic as well

OML HOW FRUSTRATING IS IT TO BE TEARING OFF in a vehicle boost full blast and hit a tiny ass rock that brings you to a sudden abrupt halt only to try and hop over it and fly way higher than you wanted to only to come down and damage the vehicle and, or goods you're carrying....
Mules are too easy to beat even later on and running them over is even quicker than just charging head on. Seems like an easy platinum minus the level all categories to 60 so I'll continue to grind. But to each his own... the formula at least up till chapter 6 has been a chore/bore fest even after losing BB for a bit.... there's just not enough reward for completing some pretty lengthy challenges. Honestly not having physical versions of games is such a complete turnoff for a collector. I cant really think of anything other than making a console and having physical games which isn't in the foreseeable future
Real talk I'm in chapter 6 DeadMan.... just reached the mountaineer.... and it's time to admit this game is boring as all hell. The story is the only thing pushing me through. Time to move back to Days Gone and give that game a shot again. I'll beat them both eventually
Well Jin... aside from your obvious bias... the Xbox One X didnt matter sales wise you're right but titles were substantially better on the X.. RDR2 probably being the biggest ambassador to come to mind. Native 4k and a rock solid 30 on console for an open world was pretty impressive. Next generation wont be nearly as vast a difference in power. I say it wont even be a bragging point, but Sony has shocked the world before, and their studios has proven to be far superior to Microsofts ...
I dunno I mean the Xbox was more powerful than the PS2 but the 360 was inferior to the PS3. It wouldnt be a precedent for this to be a similar scenario, MY OWN OPINION is that the Scarlett will be the more powerful but it wont be enough to brag about. Maybe 11.4 TF to PS5s 10.8. Just a guess... games will look identical on both platforms.
Definitely if they ARE in fact keeping their cards close this Xbox Scarlett better be vastly superior imo. Or at least a significant talking point in power difference. Honestly they just need to not get caught with their pants down like with the Xbox One reveal
Interesting considering news has been making rounds that the PS5 kits are faster than the Scarlett. Rumors on the Scarlett have been super scarce to come by. Microsoft is definitely keeping their cards close this time. Not sure which approach I like better. Sony being so open ended or Microsoft saving its surprise.

Definitely twisting his words. He definitely didnt say the Scarlett wouldn't support VR just that their focus wouldnt be on VR. Microsoft needs to focus on games. Clearly no matter WHAT Microsoft does people will have a problem with. Build studios, empower them, make great games that can match Sonys offerings and THEN focus elsewhere. Can anyone really disagree?

Game is a solid 8.5. And there's nothing wrong with that. The story and production values are the most rock solid this generation and that SHOULD BE APPLAUDED. I also haven't beaten the game so...
