All of these are good answers. I think the biggest takeaway is the Switch is a product of the WiiUs failure.
Is the switch considered a direct competitor to the Xbox and PlayStation 4? Will it be a direct competitor to the next Xbox and PS5? I've always been in between on this... What was the Wii U?
Anyways good to hear it but the shop is being loaded with shovelware. So while this may be true I'm not sure it's all a good thing.
As much as people love to HATE ON MICROSOFT. Man, these guys have never been more serious about gaming. Regardless of your allegiances Microsoft is making moves finally and it's good to hear there's someone to possibly ACTUALLY push Sony next generation. This gen has been pretty uncontested for them that isn't deniable. Buy a few studios and begin to develop your own within I like it. Hopefully they invest in the ones they have more. Make RARE great again!

Depends on the size of the game world I guess
This makes absolutely zero sense. Worst comment this week by far
I mean it's basically going into beta right? 5g is launching next year. I think the infrastructure is there now to put this in a testing phase. Eventually latency won't be an issue it's just a matter of time. I'm not in love with the idea of this either but we're getting to the point where the shortcomings aren't a factor anymore
True Liam. That's a scary thought. Like I'd just be licensing my games ...
I hate it I really do and hopefully we can fight it as gamers like we did with microtransactions. I will stay physical with my games as long as possible, but streaming is getting better it'll eventually be near 0 latency. Hopefully they can coexist in some space
Because the doomsday scenario is what developers are hinting towards. First we lost our game manuals, then digital downloads became a thing. Sony allows streaming of games on multiple devices, including TVS. You don't even need a PS4 to play PSNOW. It's just the natural evolution. I hate it and I hope they can coexist but big corporations want more control over what you play and what you see. I imagine in a couple more decades we'll all be streaming and pulling services from...
Agreed in it's current state PSNOW is sort of trash there not to say it won't get better. I'm a subscriber and streaming works perfectly at times. I streamed all of the Last of Us with little immersikn breaking issues. Now take PSNOW and give it Microsoft infrastructure already in place. Give it 5 or 6 more years. Streaming will get there eventually. I love physical editions and collectors edition and it saddens me to think some day they'll go away

No one would. At any point did I say I wanted this? Read slower next time this is the future whether you like it or not streaming will be the next digital form of delivering your media
It's Microsoft so there will be none of that here. Even though Sony pioneered this thing imo. And still the leader in terms of presence with PSNOW
If you don't think streaming is the next delivery of video game media in some form or fashion you're an idiot. Love or Hate Microsoft CLEARLY Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony is interested in the space. Microsoft just having a bigger presence puts everyone's panties in a bunch.
Sony lead from the front on this one with PSNOW. I'd say they're still ahead in this space and won't abandon it. Hardware will sadly and inevitably go away eventually and w...
Specifically says it'll run at 10 mbs/sec. That's a pretty low base line.
The headline makes it seem as if the Xbox One Xs power is unwieldy or they weren't given the tools to make use of it, or that it's poorly optimized to take advantage of said power. I swear Gaming Bolt can make entire articles out of single sentences and flip them for clickbait.
90% of the games the competition plays.... Everything else you said was correct the Xbox S is an amazing value but not the best value in gaming ....
Cute af but I wouldn't say she nails the look
You must also be waiting for the PlayStation 4 less edition
They still do those?
@painted gamer so the Switch is basically Nintendo's Xbox One X or PS4 PRO. I've never considered it like that it's the first time I've heard it and it's an interesting argument to make! I could definitely see that being the case now
