I don't get it., why do people keep comparing Ryse and Deep Down....? Ryse is a launch title and Deep Down is not..... Someone explain why we feel the need to compare the 2? It's not a fair comparison
I love the Last of Us but what was innovative and fresh about it. I'd say it was just a highly refined blend of genres with a fantastic story. The combat was excellent. The story was amazing but it didn't do anything groundbreaking.
I loooove the Last of Us. Beaten on hard plus working on survivor! But GTA V is a whole nother beast! And I know playstation fans want the GOTY to be on PS3 but GTAV without GTA ONLINE is the GOTY. The Last of Us was a better told story may I add.
And here come the disagrees. The Last of Us was a 10/10 game it gave me a feeling at the end that few games do, but GTA V IS FRIGGIN AMAZING SO MANY ACTIVITIES
You do know that SquareEnix is a business right? They really don't care about you're feelings. In a sense I see what you mean, KH3, FF. Those titles jumped ship possibly even sacrificing quality. It is what it is though, a business.

As for Sony/Microsoft revenue, who cares all that money still put Microsoft in 3rd. Sony is also missing features at launch. A huge one at that, Gakai anyone?
Funny thing is this is one of the only sites with this much bias. The Xbone has won quite a few gamers back with their recent stable of announcements and games. The PS4 is definitely the console to beat at the moment. No doubt, but the Xbone has generated momentum! The Sony faithful are desperately trying to squash that momentum.

I'm super excited about this game but I'm not blinded. That was underwhelming compared to the original target render. Gameplay looks like demon souls/ dragons dogma maybe?
Because other platform era outside of Nintendo consoles can't succeed with platformers? Nintendo is somehow the exception, just because its a Nintendo console? Nintendo just makes games with them being you're first purchase in mind that's the difference. Spyro, Rayman, Megaman, hell even if you have to aim you're market towards adults like Uncharted, or Sly Cooper. A platformer can be a first purchase.

There's a market for knack. Nintendo has been successful in that market. Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, all first purchases. So saying its a 2nd purchase in that respect has no bearing.
Wow what a terrible way to promote your game! No interest in knack at the moment. Battlefield and Killzone are my choices. Why create a game that's not good enough to be my first purchase seems contradictory coming from him of all people. Knack looks like a nice 7/10 game nonetheless

I love how the Sony 100% faithful have swept the whole multiplayer gaming pay wall under the rug. It's hilarious really you can't dig on the Xbox one for that anymore so into the next discrepancy. Microsoft isn't really lacking in ammunition for you trolls lately, but seriously the damn console isn't hitting til November. As for the TV features, I don't watch tv so don't care. Seriously, if the only screenshot comparison pic was of a GIANT GTA V PENIS, Xbox fans would claim their version had more girth and PS fans would swear their version was longer. It's pathetic

Aaa ah but with next generation hardware do you really think fresh and innovative game experiences are days gone by?? This much touted power of the PS4 can't all be for nothing? The Last of Us was a sweet farewell to an amazing generation of consoles and GTA V is the icing on that cake. The Last of Us did nothing new. It just did everything better than most genres before it, Really a testament to Naughty Dogs achievement
