I definitely agree that the puzzles were the best Uncharted has seen so far.
The Division strikes me as one of those games with a great concept where the first game was basically the beta and the second game may actually be what people envisioned. I love the concept, let's see what the future holds.
I think it was fun and a good start to a series. My biggest praise has to do with the world design and concept. It's thoroughly unique and interesting. That said, hopefully any sequels will add more enjoyable missions.
Only on N4G will you get largely upvoted for saying you like Knack, and get panned for pointing out that games that are too cinematic are likely to have problems given that it can take away from gameplay.
I can't think about any complaints regarding the game engine off the top of my head. It'll be cool to see what they can do if they build on it. I enjoyed Horizon so I'm looking forward to seeing what Guerilla does next.
@DaDrunkenJester Yeah, my guy was always Link.
My only experience with it has been usingn Olimar in Super Smash Bros.
I operate off a very similar philosophy. My only difference is that I have a couple devs I trust enough to buy at launch.
The problem with Nintendo is that, while many of their first party games are fantastic, they can only come out so many times within the span of a console generation. And there's little third party support, so no AAA titles are filling in the gaps between those first party games. Thus the Switch is relegated to a lot of indie games that can be fun if you already HAVE the console, but won't make anyone decide to go out and get one.
Isn't this the douche who thought consoles would go obsolete in the wake of mobile gaming?
Still wishing for a Sly 5. . . .
Doubt a GoW movie is a good idea. But if it's gonna happen then Momoa is definitely the best pick for Kratos.
Fair enough
I might actually get this. It'd look great next to Geralt and Nate.
I'm not opposed to cinematic games (I love Uncharted and The Last of Us) but when you blur the line between game and film that much then you're probably gonna have a problem.
Or they could just come out with another f*cking Zelda game.
I submitted it shortly after the article came out. Took two days to get approved. Hence why it's late.
Everything makes sense now
Sounds like a good idea
For sure. I think a full on game with Chloe and Nadine would be awesome. They just need to put some innovation into it as a new game. For story DLC this was pretty good.
