You can ONLY play games that are new (2009-2010) decent frames with a Mac PRO, not a mac book PRO! Since its the only one that is upgradeable
2.In all of macs games, they are simply locked!!! meaning the settings are just right for the machine that you are playing, so if you have a older mac book, it simply can not play , so good bye to crysis,AVP,Assassins Creed and so on.

it depends on how the game is coded or software. if is coded on a intel based platform or archive, it is well said to perform better on a intel chip ,which is why intel usually is shown to have better frame rates on games than a amd chip, because developers favor the chip and company (they say its more flexible, but to me its bs, i think is intel telling them to code it on their chip)but other than less, its the same chip, but yet , it isnt, ive been a intel user for a awhile, and now a amd(b...

Im not fanboi as you can see, yet this game needs to saty on consoles until they take time reconstructing the pc version
the coding wwas again horrible and hot fixes did not fix the txt and amd glitches, 955 and a 5850 would over kill this game, but nooo,the engine was horrible, as much as i love playing ever game on my pc, im just gonna leave this alone for the consoles. also, the bench mark they give you lies, its a fixed benchmark, no game play is needed since they think thats one of the most heaviest part in the game. Try better coding rockstar instead of a rush import, you can do better
no labtop for gaming, thats what i say, desktops are the way to go, less expensive,and upgradeable, labtops can game, yet they run hot,and are a pain in the wallet when banking on a gaming pc. with a desktop,they are 10x cheaper (with you build one yourself) and better for gaming as hardwear can be upgraded and better air flow throughout the computer, but yes, if you have to get a labtop, get one from newegg ,or for computer parts, zipflyzoom.com or newegg.com. :) cheers
btw, the system req are going to be heavy, its running the new ut3 1.3 engine as well, just a heads up for you pc gamers, a quad running at 2.8 and a 4870 should be more than enough to handle this beauty, and for extra frames, 3.2 and a 4890, expensive? ,yes. worth it, hell yeah!!!!

Macs arent dumb down, and for people thinking that should be slaped, im in the same boat as you, but upgraded to a 15' mac book pro, but any who, they arent built for gaming, and i think thats what most of us are saying, Apple has just now enter the gaming world since the launch of the ipod touch, but other than that,PC have been out since the 1980's,SO that comes to now why macs are not really tooken seriously as a gaming machine, simply becuz of the front based hardware it is limited on
