I liked the demo, so now I can see if the game was good.
A game as AWESOME as R2 not selling well in the UK.
While it is arguable that R2 can be a GOTY contender, it is my personal FAVOURITE game this year (i.e. that I had the most FUN with).

I agree with most ppl here that Far Cry 2 is awesome.
In-game, the day changing so is so subtle, and it also seems that I spend so much time playing it, that the day changes to night in real life too.
Still waiting to try out Gears 2. So can't really decide yet.

All the BIG name games, the AAA quality games. I think it was in part due to the closer/stiffer competition this time around.
While you guys keep throwing around the big name games (i.e. Halo, R2, Gears 2, KZ2, LBP) my personal favourite this gen has got to be WARHAWK!

Sure the process IS easy, but the fact is the screws strip much easier than any other screw I used before.
I stripped two (of the 4) of mines with a good screwdriver.
Fortunately there are solutions for getting out a stripped screw...this guy should google it. Worth a shot.

R2 is the game i had the most FUN with this year.
Even though MGS4 and LBP deserve to duke it out GOTY, this is my 3rd contender.
