the game itself is not played in the browser....there is an actual BF3 program you install, its just that the MP menu is in browser...
and have you not played the new Medal of Honor???
sorry to sink your battleship but origin is now in console games.... you have to log in and there is even a pop-up menu.....

PS4 CPU
- contains 8 jaguar cores at 1.6 ghz arranged into two clusters
- each cluster contains 4 cores and a shared 2mb L2 cache
720 CPU
- 8 cores running 1.6 ghz
-each module of 4 cores has a 2 MB L2 cache resulting in a total of 4 MB of L2

the GPU for both are exactly the same also...
pretty sure that the 720 and ps4 have the same cpu and gpu...

its not that they didnt want to bring Backwards compatibility its that they could not do it because hardware is completely different. Read a little bit and you will see that. Just as the 720s hardware will be different from the 360 so it most likely will not be able to do backwards compatibility either.
