PS3 has been dominating for the last 4 years. The wii had a very very quick start but has fallen heavily of the pace, and the xbox has been overwhelmed by the PS3 to such an extent that the 10mil headstart it was allowed, has shrunk to almost nothing. Can anyone imagine what would have happened to the xbox if the PS3 had a year head start? it would have gone the exact same direction as the original xbox, obsolete.

I think the Kinect is closer to that center than the xbox is, I know the two go hand in hand but it still seems like xbox is the black sheep at the moment especially when it comes to core games.

I disagree on some of your points, I do agree that DD is part of the future but it is not the future, DD will only work if there is also a hard copy available(something you mentioned) the PSPGo is proof of this, it didnt fail because there was something wrong with the tech, it failed because it was just DD. Gaming for instance, out of all the gamers in the world not including PC gamers, only 15% are online, many of whom have multiple accounts, which means only 15% are capable of downloading. ...
I think Lazygamer has it wrong, its not that the game is good or bad, its the fact that promises were made that was not delivered, that is what is upsetting gamers and the fact that an alternate ending will come as dlc and at a price. What is upsetting me is that there will be gamers dumb enough to buy it.

Well its like I always said, HR is a game for smart people.
I did read the review and every word this guy was spewing sounds like what ever is wrong with the game is what HE didnt want and I saw some gameplay and it looked very similar to previous instalments.

True, there are allot more bloodier games than GOW but games that are more brutaly gruesome and violent? GOW still reigns, its not just about shooting a guys head in half, its the way Kratos killed his victims, brutaly beating them to death or slowly tearing off body parts or how about forcing his thumbs into their eyes.
