Getting an achievement does not make it the biggest achievement of someone's life. Apparently your parents got the "Raise a Douche" achievement.
My girlfriend has spent hours on Tomb Raider, Dead Rising and Viva Pinata to get the full 1000 points. And if she's happy I'm happy. She's also been willing to play through games like Halo 3 and Gears of War if it means some more achievements. And getting Mile High Club one in COD4 is hard enough that I appreciate the little note of "did that".

It makes you more likely to try and not be the weakest link on the team. With 60 players you can suck and no one would probably notice. Since UT3 runs on the same engine, then saying that gears mp couldn't have more people is just ignorant flame bait. Developers made a choice to better the game, i doubt they received a single email asking for 60 player mp.
it's definitely a game that's challenging enough to feel rewarding when you finally beat the hard tracks.
when people put the two in game images side by side, the 360 version looks superior imo. Note: i'm talking about the images not the consoles, so please don't hate.
You're matched by rank. Unless you are a level 50 player, then the competition is always competitive. I'm a level 41 on team slayer (definitely just bragging) and most games are intense. In COD4 my first online game i killed over 20 people with crap guns.

I don't know, but I imagine if they're gonna be running servers for the Social Club then i bet they will go ahead and add dedicated servers for multiplayer.

There's nothing wrong with a game being AAA and being a kiddie game. I don't care if a game is considered a kiddie game. At least i'll have something my little sister can play.

that is not the model made for the super bowl commercial. That is from the e3 trailer running in engine. On the 360 master chief gets better textures and hdr. Master chief on the ps3 looks fuzzy and bland.

two consoles and two flatscreens comes in handy when you want to play multiplayer with your girlfriend. Not enough games these days have decent split screen options. I'm not saying it's not foolish though :)
Their interface is way too clunky. It's too bare bones and not a single touch of flair.
