Either the PlayStation 2 or the Super Nintendo. Purely for fond memories and having more fun as a gamer when I was younger, I'd have to say the Super Nintendo.
It's Konami Japan that I have serious disrespect for. I am a big fan of this series, but I didn't like the way the last one had taken the series. The gameplay was amazing, but the new voice, bland boss fights, repetitive missions, although some were a fun challenge, the lack of cinematic scenes that are a staple to these games. But, above all... I just don't have faith that the series will have the heart and soul like it used to.
It certainly is. One of the main reasons I still game, but I have a feeling it will now become a mere shadow of its former self.
I wouldn't say Sony are scared at all, and on the flip-side, I wouldn't say Microsoft are scared of Sony. Both will still be making games and consoles ling after we all give up gaming. But, I would say that Sony will have the upper hand, even after the Scorpio is released.... imo.
It's pretty crazy haha. I see a bunch of kids and adults running around town with their phones trying to catch them. I think it's good for kids and parents who have fun with it, but it isn't for me.

For sure. And what about the subliminal sexualization that Disney put out there, our pop stars, celebrities etc... video games are just another medium, but hardly as bad as the above.

I like fallout, but I think fallout 4 in general wasn't a great game. There's no way I'd pay 50 dollars for the dlc.
I'm getting tired of companies who feel they can charge so much for added content.
Excellent... this is the kind of game that I will spend countless hours in when I get my free time. Can't wait to see what everyone thinks about it. It's a great time to be a playstation owner.
Microsoft have their identity, they are a world known corporation. Xbox as a brand has struggled lately with the game players, and changed their ways too many times, but even then they are still very identifiable as a branded business...just maybe less so as to what they stand for, or against.
I gave up with it after two weeks and I only bought it a month ago. Full of bugs still, bland graphics, very poor companion AI, tired mechanics etc. Very disappointed in the whole thing. They need to build it from scratch with a decent engine. Graphics aren't everything, but it's not 2010 anymore.
It is extremely pointless, although I do sometimes get a giggle at the way some people bash others...but it's how stupid they read when they say it.
I think Microsoft will have the more powerful upgrade, but I don't think it will change their course that much at all. A lot of my Xbox friends lost their faith after the Xbox1, and they are sticking with Sony. Just my opinion and honesty.
I agree to a point. But, It's always been that way. I've been gaming since the atari/amstrad cpc464 days, and the bigger AAA games have always just been tweaked to a degree until bigger leaps in power (2d to 3d), and I guess there is only so much you can do to a certain franchise. I struggle today to see much originality, but there are a few, and I'm ok with tweaks too for certain games.

I think seeing as the Playstation has a higher user base, there are bound to be more Playstation fans in most gaming websites that cover multiplatform. No need for the potty mouth young man. Your mother wouldn't approve.
I agree. I have no problem paying a one off yearly fee to play online, and to get a library of added ps+ games. I can live without all these micro transactions and most dlc though... especially the micro transactions. I actually hate them.
Man, I used to love the old road rash games. I think the nostalgia would wear off quick for me though. Pretty cool though.
This is shaping up to be my most wanted game in a long time. It looks beautiful and the gameplay elements shine.
It had amazing gameplay and depth in the ways you could take out enemies, but the missions were repetitive as f. The story was not that great, and after chapter one I lost a lot of interest in it. It's a shame kojima last MGS game was went out with a whimper and not a bang.
