If you get people that know nothing about the genre or what the game is supposed to be like, it's gonna be WAY WAY WAY more biased. How do you argue someone that knows about the genre of games is gonna be more biased than someone who knows nothing about it. It's like taking someone who doesn't play games at all and telling them to give it a fair review.
And I said nothing about using reviews as a purchase reason.
I think the game would have received those kind of scores if it had faster load times, less dropped frame rate at points and less lag online. With the next patch coming(and it delivers like everyone hopes) I think it would be as close to the game everyone expected it to be. It really is amazing.
Loving Axiom Verge. So hopefully this has as much promise as Axiom Verge has.
No game is for everyone. I feel like reviewers keep repeating this when they review BB. Get better reviewers that know the genre better/and/or get someone that has played games like it.
I feel like this was just announced. I was surprised how fast it released in Japan too. Now it has a sequel announcement. Crazy.
Hopefully they will release a full fledged new Dragon Quest game with the success of this.
A 550i would struggle playing it, so no not all PC can run it. It deserves to be optimized better. There are bigger, better graphics, higher FPS games on PS4 now. It just needs to be optimized better. there are PC exclusives out of the gate that are poorly optimized that can't keep steady FPS. Your argument is invalid.
That is why I love Bloodborne. It makes every weapon more special, and it makes it so that ANY weapon you use can be the best weapon in the game if you know how to use it. I got the Platinum in the game sticking with the Threaded Cane from the beginning and even defeated a few bosses first try with it. Many other great weapons but you can stick with what's best for you, rather than what's "best in the game".
Really happy it's finally on PS4. Hope they get it to PSVita too, but I have some doubts on that.
It's really a great game. I'm usually not a big fan of these games anymore cause I had such trouble with them as a kid and even now. But I go this and really love it. It makes you think but still isn't overly difficult about anything, and still has the fun value there. It's the perfect Metroidvania game imo.
Wasn't expecting turned based. I like it, but not like Steamworld Dig at all. I played Steamworld cause it was on PS+ and I really loved it. Hopefully this is good being different.
Awesome, I actually got this by accident just figuring my way around. Upgraded my cane fully when I got it. Do you have to get the rest through Chalice dungeons? Or do you have to replay the game more to get them?
WOW! Very Impressive. Bungie is releasing the next update where they said it will be more accessible control wise for more people too. Also, with Sony releasing the update to the PS4 for more customized controls to your tuning really is helping people have access to more content that they couldn't before. Hopefully more companies look at this and see an opportunity in it, as it will help others have more fun.

Uncharted, GOW, Infamous could all sell even more than this on PC. And Sony would never put any of those on PC. So no matter how much people say Bloodborne would make them on PC, it's just not happening.

That's just not the way Fromsoftware does it for these games. It sometimes sucks but you can hook up with your friends with some effort.
Paarl is very easy. All you have to do is go directly under him and slash away. I beat it second try when I realized I could do so on my first try, very easy. I also beat Shadows of Yharnam first try and Gerhman. Shadows you just avoid the one guys flames moving in a big circle then attack the 2 after you. Gerhman was tough but you just had to dodge directly back then run up and hit him.
