Yeah. Too many pending articles are just "Why this is better than that?" from the most insignificant sources that say nothing we don't already know. If Obama says he's buying a Wii U let me know, if a civilian with internet access decides to buy a PS4, I can live without that info, I wouldn't class that as News for Gamers.
That's so annoying. I've only had a PS3 this gen, but of course friends have 360's. I never cared for Gears, Halo, Crackdown, Shadowrun, but Forza and State of Decay had me jealous.
Being on the Sony side of things its nice that some games come to PC so you have another way to play it without keeping up another subscription, like Alan Wake, Titanfall, Fable, and State of Decay on PC.
I agree with you, MS said that the consoles had to be always online so it could use the power of the cloud, yet they said that the games could be played offline they just needed to ping a few kilobytes every 24 hours. So this great power of the cloud was just a few KB a day, that's BS right there.
However, MS said something that makes me think that they can't be BSing about the cloud. They said an incredibly major thing during their reveal that noone seemed to pick up...
Have you considered buying neither, and instead buying a boat?
All we ever want from these games is more!
If you're not into Uncharted, inFamous, Killzone, or God of War then there's not much more Sony could do for you, but they will. U4 is not guaranteed to be in development, Sony Santa Monica May have a new IP too. Geurilla have a new IP also. There's 12 new IP's from First Party Studios releasing in the First Year alone.
I can see why you wouldnt want to leave the Halo franchise behind if you really love it, and I definitely agree that Sony haven't shown en...
You've misunderstood what I was saying. I was saying that most people don't even think of games as exclusive. They don't know the difference between a publisher and a developer, and they don't know what first party titles are.
I mean more that the people who read up on news daily or even weekly are the minority. We're still undecided whether GDDR5 will make a difference. These are the people who will spew the rubbish that you hear.
I mean ...
Aha yeah i'm guessing the reviewer only had a 360 all generation and then got a PS3 for The Last of Us, then decided to play through all the exclusives they'd missed.
There's a difference between entering a competition, and downloading a demo. I'm not trying to convince you to not buy GT6, Jesus Christ you people are fragile.
1 million people downloaded a demo, so what. They're saying 1 million people entered their competition to hype up the tournament.
I have a PS3, I liked GT5 and I played the GT6 demo. Why are you getting defensive about GT6 demo numbers?
This is why console wars are pointless to argue about. These are the people who will actually decide which console sells more. Most people don't even know that you can't get Halo on Playstation or what DRM means. They will never know, yet they will decide.
I don't know why their flattering themselves. 99% of them just wanted to play the demo, I don't think all million of us where trying to be the next Lewis Hamilton.
I read 990,000 somewhere I think it was for one platform but it could have been both. There is literally zero articles of evidence on how many consoles either company will be able to manufacture and the total number of preorders.
What the hell is this weird dramatic novel article about?
'The developer uttered "The reviews just won't stop, they're using you, the man is using you!"
In an instant, one cosplayer ripped out her hair, bought a red balloon and jumped in front of a car screaming..."Jason!" '
This article is sooo stupid.
Call me a Sony fanboy but MS doesn't really have an identity outside COD, Halo, Gears, Forza. Not to say it doesn't have any exclusives, I just think there's a different culture and identity. Halo although the Chief is an icon, the real star is the multiplayer, same with Gears, COD. There are games like Alan Wake that have cool stories but it still doesnt feel like the character is the star.
Colab games are kinda goofy anyway, Xbox seems to be more about, yeah le...
Shame it's just the US market, doesn't really tell us anything we don't know. GTA is popular.
That looks like good number for Beyond though, I guess of the back of The Last of Us and Heavy Rain people are hoping that Sony studios just keep them flowing out.
The title would be less likely to flame if it was 'and' instead of 'vs'. Negligible difference and I wouldnt trust this source, 40,000 preorders a piece seems a low when there is at least a couple million preordered consoles right?
I'm staying out of this one.
They will both sell out at first.
This article says that Xbox shot ahead of PS4 no-one knows anything. All we've heard is that Xbox is selling out, yet we've heard that Xbox is having manufacturing issues, We've heard that Sony have been giving retailers unlimited amounts of preorders, these are all unconfirmed rumors so you can't really say anything yet.
Regardless, Lot's of the press comes from the US, when there is a global market to ...
Both these consoles were always going to sell out.
