It may seem like smart business to try and capture these big markets but it seems like there must be some weight to the markets they're leaving out right?

The Divison looks truly next gen. Never thought the first truly next gen thing I would see would be closing a police car door, but I loved it.
I'm seeing all positive response to The Crew, but unfortunately I'm not seeing it. The game looks like a Midway launch game to me. The cars seem plain to me but I appear to be in the minority. People seem to like that Crew.
Aren't Microsoft already limiting the amount of countries they're launching in to 21 or something? I would highly doubt that this delay would mean USA, UK affected. But there were rumors of MS cutting the number to 13 countries. It's possible that they are for example delaying the XB1 release in Portugal to 2014 to have more units in the US or UK or something..

Unplugging the Kinect and not including the Kinect are different things.

Why would they? The XB1 will be selling out for a while, why lose all those Kinect sales when people are going to buy it anyway?
I would bet that a Kinectles SKU will come out once the XB1 isn't selling as fast as they can make them. So it looks like you'll have to wait a year or so.
MS still need to get Kinects out there so when you go round someone's house you want to try it. Like how people wanted to try Siri on the iPhone.
A few weeks back I said 'Don't be suprised to see MS magically find a way to make an XB1 w/o Kinect if they see the PS4 taking a lead against them in the US market.'
This is exactly what they'll do. Mark my goddamn words. They know that there are Day Oners garunteed to sell ou their console throughout the launch window. These people will all get the Kinect bundle. Then Miraculous, MS will find a new philosophy 6 months down the line to have a SKU without Kinec...

I know that, I'm saying that when they release for example Journey for PS4 on PSN. Am I allowed the PS4 version if I already own the PS3 version on the store? Or with Gaikai backwards compatibility how will my previous purchases be handled?
A MS dev said the Kinect was as expensive as the console which alot of people thought meant in terms of manufacturing but it was later cleared up. What he meant was that the Kinect was close in R&D costs to the console itself.
So if you find out how much R&Dgoes into making the XB! its pretty much the same for the Kinect.
The thing I would be worried about is if PSN purchases will ever be playable on PS4. I understand that when I bought a game or got it with plus, I was paying for the PS3 version and that's what I own, but I would be dissapointed if i'm expected to buy Journey Ultra HD edition when I own the PS3 one. I guess PS3's are only going to get cheaper from here so it shouldnt be too bad.
100% That franchise would be awesome to have back in true AAA HD Next Gen Move compatible glory. Loved those games, but i'm not sure anyone outside of the UK cared?

That's why I never understood how they grew up to say that they can't play with the Dualshock 3 now they have 360's. I always think don't you remember the ages 8 through 15?
The size and power brick you can get over (Although it is completely strange to me). The problem is the fact you cant stor it vertically, that is what makes the size more of a facotr because it will have to take up alot of room.
