Funny how all PS3 owners can do seemingly is give themselves affirmations on why their version is superior using backwards logic.
These arguments are pointless but if you really take it for what it's worth, the 360 has:
better framerate
no freezing
custom soundtracks
MUCH better online multiplayer
future DLC that is going to be exclusive and rock our socks off
PS3 has:
Slightly better AA
freezing
slightly better popin
slightly better load times

IMO, MS should forget about BR and worry more about making games REQUIRE the HDD.
You want reasons? Firstly, dispite the illusion created by Internet nerds, the majority of people do NOT own HDTVs. 2nd, the economy sucks, and $35 per movie is rediculous. 3rd, there's simply not enough of an advancement over standard DVDs.
Think about it, the jump from VHS to DVD included skipping from chapter to chapter, menus, clean rewind/ff, a MUCH better picture that is consistently clean, crystal clear sound, etc...and with Blu Ray we get enhanced menus, enhanced sound, ...
This game is going to sell like gangbusters. Unlike Halo 3 IV is going to sell very consistently for a LONG time to come.

All I can say is that L4D is supposed to be basically online only...Valve needs to get some training from id when it comes to console net code. CS on the original Xbox wasn't bad but was very far from good and TF2 on 360 was absolute garbage. Quake 3 Arena for DREAMCAST using a DIAL UP MODEM ran better than TF2 on 360 using broadband.
We've seen theoretical numbers for PS3 and cell already...we've heard "120 FPS at 1080P" for every game...now, I'm simply waiting for the brains of mere mortal men to catch up with the gods at Sony.
Once they catch up and can provide what they promise, I will pick up a PS3...it's really no more complicated than that.
