wow, great news...... oh its just in Netherlands
My reaction reading the first sentence.
Sure, but as a future upgrade. Not a budget build to get you started.
That has to be the crappy budget build I've ever seen. A 120 dollar case and 120 dollar psu are not required to play a game. You can easily pay 70 for both on a budget build.
Overpaying on the mobo. A lot more unneeded features for Playing crisis 3. On a budget, cut what you pay in half and then some.
CPU - you can easily downgrade to a i5 or dare I say even older Phenom 2 for 125 and still max out crises 3 with a good gpu.
cooler - NO TH...
Any game could have been mentioned and people would still be complaining... That's just how it goes.
I think Skyrim is a good choice, although I'm sure we all want to give the lesser known's like witcher 2 and Dark Souls their props too.
I sure miss old school jrpgs.
The idea that pc's are dying off / going to die off soon due to tablet devices and handhelds has been one of the biggest miscalculations by a lot of companies.
Sure the times are changing with these new devices and (yawn) cloud gaming, but look at the specs of a current pc and what exactly it can do (for a much cheaper price than the olden days).
Only MS could make things already done with the 360 seem like a big deal with the one.
The Titan gpu is still a ways off from the mainstream pc audience because of a 1,000 price tag but...
This will be the first console generation ever to start behind pc gpu capabilities. I was actually surprised to find that software on pc's were surpassing consoles.
ranked 3rd PS4 standard edition,
ranked 4th PS4 BF4 edition,
ranked 5th PS4 watch dogs edition
ranked 7th PS4 KIllzone edition
ranked 10th PS4 launch edition
There is only one edition of the XBO and lots of different PS4 choices, now add them together and see who's ahead on amazon.
I don't see Dead Rising 3 coming out on PC or PS3... That means there is no such thing as Dead Rising 3.....
Speaking of which, could timed exclusives for XBO be financial suicide? If a game seems like it isn't popular when it first comes out, due to a console that has bombed, wouldn't that create the allusion that the game wasn't a very good one once it reaches the other consoles, and therefore not sell?
I know everyone is excited about the next console generation. But I think this is the most momentum the PC has ever had to start a new console generation, it's becoming awfully close to becoming a third option for playing AAA mainstream games right off the bat.
FF12 is probably the most under rated games in the FF series. With all that was put into it, it blows FF10 away, it just has way more depth to it....
cloud gaming is more ridiculous then ONE's security features.
Cloud gaming;
Always connected to internet (check),
used games restrictions (check),
requires internet (double check),
subscription to play (likely),
own your games (nope, they can go away as fast as megaupload did)
Cloud gaming... No thanks!
I'd love to see FF15 on PC! This game looks like one of the better FF games and it will be nice to have this game engine over the FF13 engine this generation. The games that were released on PC by SE (tomb raider and dues ex human revolution) were the best game by them this generation. I'd like to finally see a good jrpg coming from this company too since that is what they are supposed to be good at.
Used games have been going on since the Atari and have yet to kill any game studios.
MS is shoving their security features down our throats and the free market WILL VOTE AGAINST IT with their wallet!
Bethesda won't make Fallout xbox1 exclusive... Fallout will come to the PS4, too much sales to loose out on something that can easily be multi platform
Windows 8.1 is bringing back a start icon that switches to the metro interface. This is not to be mistaken for the traditional start button found on every other os. 8.1 is a lot more minor then it is being advertised as.
In MS's own words on the complaint of not having a start button for desktop users. They said to the effect in a statement, "we understand the complaints, but we are trying to figure out what people REALLY mean when they ask for a start menu." Re...
MS has grown out of touch with it's consumers and developed a "MS knows best" complex.
Consumers, "we want a desktop os with the use of a mouse" ms's response, "that's not really what you want, we know what you want better than you do."
That has been their new strategy for a couple of years now.....
I'm on the fence. I enjoyed the story in FF13 enough but FF13-2 had one of the weakest stories out of any FF game. For all the praise F13-2 got for its exploration, I really didn't think it felt like a game from the FF world, the time travel aspect really lost my interest. I'm really wondering if they will go in a better direction with lightning returns or if the story will only feel more lost from the original FF feel.
With consoles you do have a more convenient build to play games on and traditionally it has been the choice of development in terms of making games due to a higher revenue. Although I think that gap is closing as we go more and more into the digital age. With the convenience of digital downloads through sources such as steam, pc games are really starting to generate a lot more revenue than in the past. Of course Sony, MS, and Nintendo are going to pay a lot of money to get their exclusives, b...
