all three of his points are exactly the same, basically "i havent seen enough yet but what if this is bad, and that happens..." - all pretty baseless assumptions and bit of a waste of time reading it tbh
sounds like if it scores badly then you are going to give it a miss which is quite bizarre??? if you are pumped to play the game just pre order it and play it!!!! i already have and cant wait
how would this get through testing though, obviously quite common so a team of testers surely would have flagged it
at the very least every pack you open should add to a points tally and after you reach a certain number of points you should be able to cash in points for a card in a range that you want....save more points and get the best player....at the moment you could spend $1000 in game and probably have 1% chance opf getting a top rated player (icon, 90+ player etc)
ive opened close to 1000 packs in fifa 19 and highest pull was isco 89 rated....
at least with apex you get a guaranteed item after 500....fifa ive opened close to 1000 packs (no spend just through squad building challenges, free reward packs etc) and never packed a player above 90 rated (isco @ 89 rated was highest)...you can spend thousands without packing a top rated card (ie icon) yet people still blindly throw money at it in the hopes they will pack something (which only lasts till the next fifa anyway....)
na the controller speaker when used well is great....not enough games use it, couple ive played recently that did it well were shadow of mordor and dead nation.
i still look at at those sierra games as one of my favorite eras in gaming....kings quests, police quests, colonels bequest (prob my fav ever game)...you had to actually play through and work out puzzles yourself as internet wasnt widely used then....nothing better than the feeling of finding some of the hidden objects and secret passages in colonels bequest....these days you get stuck its easy to search.....can still remember getting stuck on manhunter and had to write to sierra to ask for h...
lol fortnite is harder than most other games? if someone is shooting you, you quickly build a wall and disappear....please explain how on earth you think fortnite is hard?
i just dont get the hype over fortnite, tried to play it but was repetitive and boring, you just do the same thing over and over again, no story no character progression, nothing at all to keep me interested for longer than 5 minutes

isnt this the norm for most MP games? ive played a ton of fifa and the abuse you get from some people on there is atrocious....i usually just laugh at them which makes them even angrier, then just report it to sony as abuse who then send out warnings

i was actually tempted to get an xbox just to play SOD2 as love apocalyptic settings...so glad i waited for reviews to say how rubbish it actually was...and this Jinger chap singing its praises, lol. i cant wait for days gone to release
yep agree completely, they make one or two minor adjustments to gameplay, add in a couple more sounds/visuals etc and reset your ultimate team - all so people can spend another few hundred $ on packs....its a vicious cycle but so easy to get addicted to it....this year is the first year since 2010 i havent bought fifa and im loving it, finally broken free so i can clear some of the backlog ive built up
I've just been playing magic the gathering arena and the way that rewards players is great. You get a chance of wildcards with packs which can let you choose any card in the game. Don't have to spend money but can get the best cards. Pity ea can't do something along these lines as it's too much of a cash grab for them now
Exactly....some players you can just get within 20 yards of goal and shoot. Doesn't matter if they are off balance or facing wrong way there's a good chance it will go in. That's not skill
@kikicub if u play with a average team in div1 or weekend league u will lose 9/10 games. That's not fun
yep i worked out i would have opened close to 1000 packs over FUT18 - all through rewards and SBC's as I didnt spend a cent, and I didnt pack an icon at all....so i would love to know the percentage for an icon in a standard pack, it must be close to 0.001% - and this is why ive quit fifa now
this is true but to get the best players you have to pump massive hours into trading etc (or get very lucky). i did this is Fut18 and final team had prime R9 & gullit and a stack of other OP players - but i played 1600 games over the year and would have spent at least 100 hours doing SBCs and trading.
this will be my first year since 2009 not getting fifa - just sick of the pay to win mechanic especially in fut champs. no one tries to make creative teams anymore, its all just win win win
