Multiplayer for me is the main part of the game. Once the singleplayer is done that's it, but Multiplayer is where the value is if its good enough to make you want to keep coming back for more. If a 'Live Service' is the drip feed of stuff like they have just added long after the game has released when they finally gave us the ability to manage your own squad in a squad game then you can shove your 'Live Service' where the sun don't shine. Those are features that have been in older Battlefield game from the start, you should be iterating and improving on those features with each new game.

I was hoping to get a PS5 and PSVR2 but looking at the games it just isn't worth for me, out of all those games only 2 interest me and of those 2 both are old existing games that have been updated to enable people to use the VR headset, nothing new for me. I haven't looked at these 10 new games but with the original list only 2 games were something that would interest me, and of those 2 none of them are new games, they are just updates to existing games that enable them to use PSVR2. I don't even own a PS5 yet, so spending $1000+ to get the console and VR headset is a lot for just 2 existing games. More AAA racing and shooting VR multiplayer games please before I risk investing $1000+.
Dam it. I need a Steam ID to register for the beta. I take it they are not doing a beta for the Xbox and other consoles it is releasing on then. I am on Xbox Series X :(

As a player who played all the previous Splatoon games I was hoping this new game would at least offer other modes with larger teams, as in my experience with games with small player counts like this game 4 vs 4 if a player drops out or players in your team are not helping then you are kinda screwed whereas in larger player count games if this happens you still have a chance to compete, it should offer a mode 8 vs 8 or 10 vs 10 as a separate mode.
2042 gameplay has got better but BF5 gameplay is way better and more fun, so why on earth would I pay money for cosmetics in 2042 when the game is still quite bad, the changes to gameplay and the much needed changes to the maps are just way too slowwwww. Move quicker DICE. I'm not interested in your reasons, move quicker.

Even on the day of the new content I couldn't even get a game as I don't want to play with PC players on crossplay. This game is dead at the moment. Please give us console only crossplay.

As I cannot get a game most of the time as I can't use crossplay. Hopefully this will mean I can get to play a game when it comes to Games pass. I paid for the Ultimate Edition and I just can't get a game at the moment. This game is in such a mess it seems in my experience the only way to scrape enough players to fill a single sever is to be able to use crossplay.
I'm interested in a larger ship for players or ships of the same size that give players different ways to play.
I think that would just annoy people like me who was stupid enough to buy this game (Ultimate Version) at launch. What I got for over £100 was a game that no one want to play. On Xbox the game is dead, I can wait for 10 minutes looking at a screen in All Out Warfare that says 'WAITING FOR PLAYERS TO JOIN', and on Portal Mode today no servers at all.
It had taken them 3 years to produce a game with many features missing from previous games, no voice chat, no leaderboards, hardly any weapons, hardly any destruction, forgettable maps and modes. What 2042 did well was what was in the old games brought in by the Portal mode.
Fans expectations are "brutal" apparently...errr no, they can't even manage what was in previous Battlefield titles. Not interested in the reasons or excuses, fix it, and when you have fixed it we will then know what the real release date should of been.
I wouldn't buy 2042 for $10 lol let alone $100. If I knew now what 2042 was like when it released I wouldn't bought the Ultimate Edition. Yes it has improved but overall 2042 just isn't a patch on older Battlefield games like BF4, and BF5. Bring back more destruction, and ditch the specialists.
