This article wouldn't utterly suck if the comparison was an actual comparison. It's just a few videos of gameplay shown side by side and virtually indistinguishable from each other. What it should be is a commentary that actually explains the differences or lack of. IGN is just farming the current BF3 hype.
Good thing it isn't Bowling tweeted in response to a comment cresente made on twitter saying there's no such thing as "team perks" in MW3

Dear Kotaku,
I don't see how Elite can be perceived as a bad thing. Activision is trying to innovate towards an infrastructure that will help competitive gaming become much more mainstream. If you don't see the positive in Elite, then you've failed as a video games journalists.
I'm sorry you're upset about Activision letting WSJ break the story, but it's not the end of the world. Your Elite article was second only to Joystiq's in t...
I guess because a gaming site posted it someone thought it was gaming news?
False advertising. I don't care that they're covered up, they're just not worth calling news.
I really like what Ubisoft is doing, trying to have the story culminate with Assassin's Creed 3 in 2012 the time when the story is actually occurring.
This series has been one of the brightest campaigns from a publisher or developer in the last decade and I've loved every bit of it. I can't wait for revelations and look forward to what AC3 will bring us in 2012.
None of these details are new but the screenshots are.
This definitely did not happen yesterday. Come join us in the present please.
This is disconcerting because technically you belong a few hours into the future.
You're on the right track. Thumbs up!
Def not Halo CE ladies and gentlemen. If you don't know what this is, you will soon enough.
In a word, yes. As one of the best storytelling franchises out there, yearly releases are totally up to par. Now if the gameplay is unchanged, Ubisoft might be shooting themselves in the foot, especially when AC3 finally hits.
Absolutely not unless LoZ is the only franchise you play. There's a host of titles that should be well above in everyone's list, even the diehard Zelda fan.
Unless Skyward Sword is bring brought to Nintendo's next console don't expect it to make a huge splash.
Every entry in the series so far has had an incredible ending that just left you wondering about what's really going on.
"A company like Sony will always be successful because they innovative and listen to their end users."
I'm always amazed when players say this. Nintendo's been at the forefront of console gaming innovation since the last decade, nevermind this one, and Microsoft is largely responsible for the online gaming experience we all enjoy today on consoles. What gaming innovations has Sony brought to the table since it started as a console manufacturer?
You should never blame the consumer for being misled. It should be very clear that the quality of the game is going to be degraded if you do not have an HD to install the HD texture pack to.
