Read the article and look at the table provided. They compared it to both the old xbox one ui and the playstation 4. I agree the article is somewhat a clickbait one, but they are comparing similar tasks such as opening up a party and inviting 3 of your friends. Or opening up and seeing your gamercard/profile and comparing the speeds on each of the three UIs.
You should definitely buy mcc for the halo 2 remade campaign at least. The cutscenes are unreal.
