Agreed with Bullettoothtony. Kinect is alright, it works for some people and I can understand the appeal, but it seems like they're forcing it down our throats at this point. Also, next to no exclusives? D: Come on, Microsoft, you gotta thrive on those.
Yeah, I think that's the bottom line for a lot of people.
LORD OF THE DANCE SOMEONE HAS A DIFFERENT OPINION, GET HIM. Also, way to not notice it's a different person who wrote this than posted it.
It's a timeline, guys. A really well done one, at that. Maybe some people haven't caught all the details while PSN was down, people were out of town, whatever. There was some stuff in there I didn't know about and I followed this story really close.
Yeah, it's E3, and I'm excited too. Doesn't hu...
"Halo is essentially the gaming world's Brett Favre"
This is like, the best analogy ever. I could totally see Master Chief popping off his helmet and being all, "I WAS THE STAR GREEN BAY PACKER QB". Cliffhanger, then Halo 5 is mysteriously retitled to Favre: 2013.
I haven't finished the Witcher just yet, but I'd definitely agree with the 9/10 score. Everything is just so much tighter and better than the first, which was great to begin with. This may even be a 9.5 on my scale, kinda depends how it all wraps up.
Hey, anything to get us to classy FPS games, I say. This is looking good already, lots of word of mouth about it too.
I had that reaction too, when I first saw it being played. When you get to some serious interrogation parts I really started digging the story though. A big sense of "Oh god, don't screw this up, don't screw this up" pops up for me that doesn't in a lot of other games.
Aww, poor Europe. Always takes a couple days later to catch up to Japan and North America, it seems. :x
Welcome back to PSN, UK!
This is a really interesting article. Cool idea, thanks for submitting. I'd like to see more!
Ooh, this is a nice list, thanks for compiling it.
First instinct was to go with Gamestop, might even get a midnight release for this. Hope so!
I don't think they're gonna do a whole "lol surprise guise!!1" and just open it one morning. That seems kinda reckless, imo.
Then again, if you announce it ahead of time it's kinda like just letting hackers get ready. Hmm.
Reads like it's just saying the old reports were false, they're still working on strengthening their system. PSN isn't up anywhere just yet.
Google translate leaves a lot to be desired. Japan does dates different from North America and Europe, the month is listed first, then the day, then year. Google confused 5/1/2011 (May 1st 2011) for 1/5/2011 (January 5th, 2011).
Nice sum-up and link back to the original letter, thanks Sheep!
I dunno, I don't think it's the developers that are sitting in leather chairs petting cats and counting their money as much as it is the publishers.
I love collaborations and hearing back from devs like this. Especially when it was such a great pack, a great deal, and it all kind of ended up tying together? Ugh, fantastic.
Great piece!
Very well written and well worded article, I approve with it nearly word for word. Nice job, ps3center. Also impressive to see the other side of the coin, other than people whining about what they're due.
Props.
Because Guy Fawkes would totally go to an entertainment store sit-in protest.
Dammit Alan Moore. Well I guess the Wachowski Bros, but still.
Curious, what constitutes a "pure gaming article" if this isn't news?
I didn't attend E3, I likely watched the same stream as you. I simply tried to cover something objectively instead of shitting all over it.
Maybe I should be a less "wussy game journalist" and just agree with everyone else's point of view?
