Enjoy them, don't forget some of the Gears 3 maps are free too and I really do hope Judgment's DLC gets a similar treatment!
It would be great to see all the older last generation Gears of War titles have the DLC available for free, I believe they did so with all the old Halo DLC packs.
The settings were noted as being locked for this part of the beta testing when I went and tried it out. Noted that other graphic settings will be selectable later, I did look over the options and even mention that.
I heard the latest entry Wildlands was solid, the Advanced games were enjoyable and the free to play that no longer exists was alright from what I remember.
I'm actually quite surprised we haven't seen a Switch version yet or heard about it releasing there, might have to do with Nintendo's early access protocols if they have any. Still, for touch controls it handles fairly fine.
It's direct from En Masse, we work with a number of publishers to review their titles. Sometimes we ask them questions, they send email replies and an article is written. Not sure what more you want.
Ya, I thought they were teasing a sequel with that. Then this DLC comes out of nowhere, it's a fun surprise and not at all expensive.
It's been up for a few hours, go to the store page and it should be free for you. I've actually already been playing this and Crazy Taxi too which is also now available.
I feel this game is more remembered for its tone and the shocking moments. Sure the multiple endings played into that, but the general narrative throughout makes it such an easy thing to playthrough and then remember years later. I feel it does deserve credit for trying something new at the time and being a commentary on how crazy shooters in general are for how they glorify war when it's really just a tragic mess. I could be looking into it too much, but this one will always be memorable...
I recently started revisiting old games when I have time, did this one because it just became Xbox Backwards compatible and thought I'd give it a go again. While it's great to be playing new games, I do occasionally like to revisit some titles that were memorable in different ways. Keeps it fresh when reviewing I suppose.
It's a real shame, Fall and War were truly remarkable games.
Ya, it supersamples. You're getting a really great picture since the higher stable resolution will be pushed into a smaller picture! Also, with that 60fps mode you'll be getting the 60fps.
They mentioned they're looking into porting it to other platforms
I went with Andromeda because it released so poorly that it literally killed the entire series and the planned trilogy that it belonged to.
I played Moss at E3, it's a very lovely title and one with great potential. Hope it turns out well!
100 players, a split of four from that pool for teams of 25
I'd really love to see a split of four for teams of 25. I think that might be slightly more frantic while still giving that sense of a larger group of teams at play.
Nothing, they're free to download in-game or online depending on the platform.
Had meant that it was designed with two players in mind with the "fully feature cooperative action", just simplified it which was a mistake.
It's really awesome, been playing it today. If you liked the first one you'll love the improvements they've made!
