"new visual effects, better environmental rendering, and higher-resolution textures and shadows" compared to the Xbox 360 version or in general? I noticed this remaster was only announced for the Xbox One & PS4 consoles but no news of a PC version or even a patch for it, paid or not.
With the exception of fighting games, the majority of games I've bought this gen have been story based games.
Echoing what others have said, the day they stop making single player games is the day I stop buying new games, besides there's plenty of SP games I've missed over the years I could catch up on anyway.

@darthv72 Well there is this summer 2018 game coming from Codemasters being worked on by some of Evolution Studios old devs. Looks like a Motorstorm spiritual successor.

After Sony closed their studio down, I doubt they'd choose to make this a PS exclusive IMO. Wished Evolution studios had gotten the chance to make another Motorstorm for PS4.
Was interested in this game at first but now I'll keep 100% of my money tucked away in my wallet.
It was already announced that it will be worked on by other EA studios and that it's no longer a linear single player game. Some people assume EA just wanted another multiplayer game to fill with lootboxes(the announcement happened before the Battlefront II fiasco).

I doubt Death Stranding and The Last of Us Pt. 2 are 2018 releases but I guess sites like this just include them for clicks. I don't think either have even announced release windows yet.
I remember Killzone Shadow Fall having the warzone mode too but I'm not sure how active the servers would be now, it's the same mode with revolving objectives that 2 and 3 had.
