Youtube post?. LMAO.
I agree. In fact, when the whole DLC train took off I thought. Aw sweet free extra content with my game purchase!. FUCK WAS I WRONG. My last good memory of free DLC back then was a Christmas map redone for COD-MW (PC version). Now you have a better chance of finding big foot then getting free DLC.
As long as the PC version in terms of quality doesn't suffer (trying to keep all 3 platforms looking the same) then i'm ok with this.
Lame.
Eternal darkness sequel. M rated. No waggle controls. Nintendo back to being relevant with the crowed that grew up.
Just a dream though.
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!
LMAOROFL.
Free lulz DLC included on the box.
Buying 85% of games at launch is a total wash. DLC plays a big part in the depreciation of disc based content. These games end up costing the gamer close to or over 100 dollars. The smart thing to do is wait till a better deal hits. I'm all for supporting the gaming community but not with its current high price to nicke n dime structure. I got to eat too bro.
One of the few games I'm actually looking forward too. Mafia II was an awesome game. Great sound track also.
"Appealing to a wider audience"
I too cringe at this phrase. It's as though all games have to be ONE SIZE FITS ALL. I doubt gamers buy there clothes with this mind set.
Solid RENT.
@1:54. Batman detective mode.
I agree. Genres of the 90's and early 2000 weren't "fun" for the new generation of gamers. Everything has to be "fun" now. Challenges that created great games back then have died off due to the lack of "fun".
You mean who is approving this garbage?. Here you go:

The PS3 was spared. Its better this way. PC gamers will soon know the pain of playing alan wake.
I'm more then ok with this strategy.
I do very much agree with what the writer is expressing. I too see the series not being remotely close to what its predecessors (RE1-4) visioned / achieved. I see it as being another clone of the action based multiplayer focused minimal story DLC games publishers want to cash in on (generally speaking). I guess the new generation of gamers are ok with that. The challenge seems to be gone however in favor of this "fun" aspect.
On the flip side however judgments must ...
Seeing the character start up what looked like a generator brought back painful memories of alan wake. It IS a bad thing. I'm gonna look in the other direction however cause it's silent hill.
Its only going to get worse. The current pricing DLC cancer model is succeeding since gamers keep pumping money into it. More incentive for publishers to offer less content at a premium price.
