DICE and Crytek need to break away from EA. Its killing there franchises. Get there sh!t together and refocus on the PC.
Ok but not good.
"In other news, I got a haircut yesterday and now my head looks like a penis. Bummer"
AHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Not a fan of the gauges being on the right side of the screen for bumper view. Would be better if you can change that in the options menu. Have it placed in the bottom middle.
Mindfuk: If you stare at the gameplay vid the whole time and when he turns his head to his right. Looks like hes got a mullet. LOL.
Hasn't been for over a decade now. Damn shame.
"In terms of the PC version, the quick answer is no, [we won't be fixing the frame rate problems]. Because we wanted to get the PC version out as soon as possible, it's more strictly a port from the console version. We haven't been able to step up into doing any specific optimisation for PC."
It states that there focusing more time to DLC. I'm not even sure if the PC modding community will see value in it and fix it for them. There priorities are ups...
I agree. However, gamers just can't live without sequels. No matter how bad they are. Case in point resident evil and silent hill. Metal gear franchise came to an end. Its been a great ride. Lets keep it that way. Games like this borrowing the name only cheapens the legacy. Even the handheld versions.
Games are already costing over $100. The initial game is $65. The "complete" game is or over $100. Its already here. Just in a different price structure to fool gamers. Thanks for nothing DLC.
To be honest, There needs to be two separate events. Hardcore and casual. Since the big three can't offer a balance between both sides this would serve better in terms of a consumer / gamers time. As an older generation gamer hearing about casual games WHILE I'm expecting hardcore game announcements (and not getting them) is a total waste of time. You never know just how much time is going to be dedicated to what.
With the two events. Each side gets to hear about the...
"We've got to continue to make the service better, dramatically better, and stickier, on a quarter by quarter basis throughout this entire fiscal year"
This is great news for investors. Bad news for gamers. This guy believes buying games at full retail 100% of the time is a better investment. GTFO.
Without more processing and GPU power creators / devs wont be able to bring those ideas to life and on your HDTV screens. IMO the wii on an big screen TV is painful to look at. I would also say the wii's overall library isn't great as past generation nintendo consoles. Due to the lack of processing power this generation.
If you like your gaming looking 16bit I can respect that. However your not going to enjoy the latest games on lack luster hardware.
Because this is how MS keeps the hardcore happy. No need for new IPs. Unless they use kinect.
I would of rather seen this during Sony's conference then wonderbook.
Yes
My white whale.
2 million sold for the lesser version of a PC game?. Interesting. Sort of.
HAWKEN is coming along great. I wish the team well with completion and game launch. DO WANT. MY PC IS READY.
According to MS. Halo, gears, cod and forza are enough to keep the hardcore crowd happy. Yikes. What a slap in the face.
I do agree. It seems the big three are having MAJOR identity crisis. No one wants to pick a side and stay there. Its impossible for them to cater to everyone. It doesn't work that way. There all hell bent on being the same.
Don't tell that to EA and activision. DO NOT WANT RISK. WANT MORE DLC SUBSCRIPTIONS.
