Well Xbox fanboys love metacritic and Fez out scored both the games with gold offerings on X1 by a mile, so Xbox fanboys agree by default that the free PS4 games win this month.

That last paragraph sounds very fanboyish mate, the game isn't full price, it has the dlc added also, then take into account you have basically stood up for all other remasters/remakes besides the Sony exclusive in the rest of post just adds to coming across as a fanboy.
People either have an issue with all remasters/remakes or none there shouldn't be an area to punish some then let others off.

To be honest not too many games have released behind a whirlwind of hype so far this gen and without the hype not too sure how disappointing games can be considered.
Off the list in the article only Watchdogs really had any hype, the launch games for PS4 & X1 only really had hype because they were launch titles, outside of that what's really left, Titanfall & Infamous ss, well I thoroughly enjoy both of them.
On the X1 ?

Suppose you could call it a cash grab but is it really much different from COD,BF,Fifa,Madden,Assassins Creed etc that are rehashed and sold at full retail price every year often with the likes of DLC and seaon passes as an extra
