I went to buy a game yesterday... I picked up UFC 2010 and ModNation Racers. I asked the guy behind the counter if this UFC came with the need of a code to play online.. he said yes. It doesn't say anything on the case from what I could see... sneaky... but after he told me that it is.. i reluctantly put it back on the shelf.. i wanted that game SOOOO bad.. been waiting for it.. but found out about this $10 scam a few days ago.. I wish people would just stop buying this stuff.. I know it's needed but come on.. map pack updates for a game should be free. I guess I'm a bit old school, but the devs already collected $70/$80 on the game.. they should give a little.. charge for expansion upgrades.. not maps.. the maps should be given out for free to keep the user base interested.. the days of pc gaming, nobody ever charged for maps, or skins.. that would be bs and it should be the same today. I didn't only buy it for games.. I bought for all the features it offered. If I want 2 ports I'll get the slim, if I don't want BW compatibility I'll buy the slim. If it was only a games machine and nothing else I'd probably get bored of it after a few months, that's the fate of all the gaming machines I've ever bought. This has survived so long cause when I want a break from games, I always have something else I can do until I get that urge back again.
I'm not signed into the PSN network. Don't feel like running the hack tool just to go to the store. I usually find something interesting to buy on most thursdays too.. guess I won't be doing that either... well at least it's not a dead paper weight.. still streams video and music on my network, so it's my new oversized ipod.. thanks Sony.
I bought the PS3 2 months after launch. I have 1 of the very rare 20GB models, of course it's a 250GB now. I bought it and have never replaced it for the simple fact I bought and paid the full price for everything. I was already disappointed in Sony for stripping the machine to make it affordable to all the whiny babies that want everything for nothing. I have a launch PS3, so I have it. Used it at first, but with all the great PS3 games, don't need to anymore. I think it wasn't a great move on Sony's part to take it out, but they removed it to help lower the cost. There was sooo much complaining that it cost sooooo much, and now complaining features had to be removed to lower the cost... makes it a lose/lose situation for them. With all the great features the PS3 has, it was and is the best bang for the buck.

I don't care if it's the worst game ever made, I am going to buy this game now just because its taking so much bs from all these places. People should grow the f up. War isn't pretty, if it's so disturbing to all you freaking Americans stop starting the damn things!!
