What I think it all comes down to is the studios name... If rockstar released Sot, people would've crapped on it and wonder what the heck happened to rockstar... If naughty dog would've released sot, people would've crapped on it and wondered what the heck happened. If Bethesda would've released sot, people would've crapped on it etc, etc etc.... A bunch of xbox enthusiasts gave it a pass because their nothing more than homers and making sure the Xbox looks good is more...
Hopefully this will suffer a better faith than Sea of thieves. It's releasing in June, so it might find an audience during the summer months... Hopefully they add more enemy varieties because we've seen those two "zombies" in the trailers for years...

Microsoft obviously is selling it as a free feature, but deep down they know most will buy a digital copy of an old game to play on the One... Nothing wrong with that, but they're definitely making money and people are buying into it...

I fully expect both next gen consoles will have backwards compatibility from the beginning (which is when its the most impactful) I don't dig anyone for wanting to play old games (I'm actually replaying San Andreas on ps2) I'm just tired of reading about this one little thing being regarded as this must have.... I still own all my systems dating back to my nes... It's not my fault you sell your old console to be able to afford the next. It might be convenient, but it's not something that deserves an article each month. It would be cool if I could play my ps3 games on my ps4, but all I need to do is switch the hdmi input on my tv... The first generation Sony doesn't offer backwards compatibility and Xbox walks in like it invented the wheel 3 years in this generation... Now its biggest enthusiasts are pumping their chests for old games, while trying to convince people that minimalist bump in graphics for the X is do or die... Lol!

Did I miss something? The og one versions are still 720p-900p... and that's the version that 95% of xbox players will play... Any version you play on playstation will be great, only one version on Xbox is worth playing and barely anyone will get to experience it...

I'm fairly sure Sony was signing all the checks for this game... This was obviously a deal between Sony and Disney that involved movie and game rights...Insomniac was basically the contractor in this deal (some of the best for sure)
