I personally will not pick Nextbox up right away like I did 360. My game dollars will be going to Sony PS4. Very doubtful, I think all of the consoles are going to have a slower start than last gen. Not to say I will not have PS4 day one. It is all about games dude. I have Wii U and there are like 6 games I really like on the system. By Christmas there will be 12 games I really like.

I think it LOOKS cool, but doubt it will be cool after a few minutes. In fact it will be too distracting. People say Nintendo is gimmicky, sheesh. This is a big gimmick if I have ever seen one.

Its a seizure waiting to freaking happen. At first I looked at Illumiroom and I was like wow, and then I looked harder and was like, that is freaking CHEESY,STUPID, Distracting,Gimmick that will only be used more than 10 min by someone on acid.
Great game, one of the best games ever. I remember being disappointed when I saw that it was going to be Cell Shade. Well I was wrong. Less than an hour into the game I could see completely what Nintendo had envisioned. I am really looking forward to playing this game over again. I am sure the gamepad will act as the Gameboy advance did. Back then it was a pain in the butt because of the cords.

PS2 beat out Gamecube and Xbox. Both had more power. We all know that. The Wii U is more capable than PS3 and Xbox 360. That has been shown in Need for Speed. What are you talking about? Games like Trine 2, Nintendo Land, BOPS2, Assassins Creed 3, Rayman (the demo), Need For Speed, Monster Hunter (I like the HUD on the gamepad, it cleans the screen up), Zombi U, Lego City, oh heck the list goes on and on. Make great use of the second screen. Much more than just off TV play. These are just the first batch of games.
For me its all about the games. I have Wii U, and PS3. As soon as PS4 comes out, I will pick that up. For me its about AAA1st party games. I can play the ports Wii U does not get next gen on PS4. Sony and Nintendo Hands down have the best 1st party games. Sure Microsoft has some, but comparatively Microsoft just doesn't have the games I want to play, or have time to play for that matter. I just read on N4G yesterday Sony has made PS4 easier to develop for than PS3 is.

Wow Sega is so lazy, it is still listed on their website for Wii U. I was looking forward to this game. Looks like its a no go. Unless they do what Team Ninja did with Ninja Gaiden 3 and revamp the game to make it play like it should. I only rented this for PS3 and it was pretty much a stinker. This goes into one of my all time let downs like RE6.

Nintendo and Sony are my choices for games. I think this time around Microsoft has their work cut out for them. It is all about the games for me. I don't have time in my life for 3 consoles and PC. So for me It will once again be Nintendo and Sony. After my second Ring Of Death in one year I sold my Xbox games and picked up PS3 (I already had Wii). That is how it will remain for me...UNLESS Microsoft blows my mind somehow.

I like the game. It is fun, and looks great. I agree with the other reviews that rank it quite high 4/5 8/10. I do however wish the load times were faster.
Illumiroom looked like it would be cool, till I looked at it a second time. Too much going on away from the screen, and do you have to play in a dark room or what? It reminds me of a dance club. Gimmicky all the way.
4000k tv's I think are pretty cool, but what would be the point. Even if you had one Cable, satellite, and whatever else just upgraded to 1080p in the past 10 years. That cost money. I really doubt they are going to be in a hurry to do this until the demand...
Mine would be, when I was a kid letting my parents making me get an Odyssy Game system after we we went through 2 Atari's in 2 months. Odyssy was really cool at the time, it even had games that you could design your own levels, that was VERY advanced back then. Yes, it will. As of today a 3D Mario (its right here on N4G) is set to come out in October. With that game Pikman, HD Wind Waker, Wonderful 101, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Resident Evil, there are plenty of games coming up and that will drive sales. I will pick Madden up on PS3/PS4.
