But MGS2 and 3 featured Raiden and Big Boss (semantics of him being Snake aside) respectively. Portable Ops was Big Boss as well. In any case I don't mind them putting Nero in as long as we get Dante play, I just hope that Dante isn't tacked in just for the sake of making him playable though THEN I'll be pissed. But it doesn't look like they're going to do that.

I've had mine since launch and I've never regretted it a single second. I've always liked the games that have been released on PSP and the added functionality with custom firmwares, I have Vagrant Story, Xenogears, and Front Mission 3 on my system as well. With the Swiss Army Knife media functionality it's also the reason why I don't have a portable MP3/Video player. Coupled with my Pocket PC phone I'm covered on every base with 2 devices (not including teh laptop).
I do read books but that doesn't change the fact that I appreciate a decent well told story in games. They set up an interesting mythology and the basis of a good revenge story. I was expecting something like Evil Cult but was met with American Ninja. That's not to say that I didn't enjoy the game, I had the first when it was released then traded up to Black which I still own and play. Then I purchased Sigma and returned it when I realized it was pretty much the same game with souped up graph...
Depends, I've had some pretty lag free matches from people all over the world. Then one person would join a game and lag us all to hell, only when they left would it return to normal. I heard playing in the rooms without voicechat enabled are relatively lag free but I've played in both and didn't notice a big difference. If you stick to rooms with high-full green bars and around 3-4 players you should be good.
Nah not an editor inside the console, that would require too much work and you're right 512 isn't enough ram for it. I'm talking about a downloadable PC standalone version of the UnrealEd that comes with the PC UT3 and GoW for people who purchase the PS3 UT3.
All they really need to do is change some of the useless weapons out from the last one (looking at you Spiral) in favor of new weapons, and advance the story. They've already added style switching for Dante and Nero has his own play style. DMC falls in between of the awesome combat and toiletpaper thin story of NG, and the awesome storytelling and so/so combat of GoW. Don't get me wrong I love GoW/II but the combat wasn't that deep. NG had relatively deeper combat mechanics but the story suck...
Yarr, in the Binaries folder for the PC version there's a PS3 folder with the PS3tools file inside. And inside the frontend you can select PS3 as a platform for exporting and cooking. Epic really did score an epic win with this. Once the word gets out to the mass PS3 owners who have a passing interest or are guaranteed to pick this up about the longevity this will give the game, it should sell like awesomecakes. Yeah you had to purchase the 3 exclusive to DR with ingame money and download it within the game. It's still pretty awesome to play online, voice chat adds a lot to the experience especially when you have a few people in the room.

I think you could pick it up for like 15 bucks now, well worth it. It's crazy atmospheric and pretty unsettling quite often. Think X-Files + CSI + Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Bucher Bay.
From what they mentioned I'm actually happy with what they've done. Don't mess with success or you get DMC2!! I just want the combat depth to remain as deep as the classics with a good story to boot and all signs are pointing to yes. Nero's Devil Bringer air combos looked so dope and adding style switching to Dante was something I was asking for since DMC3. I hope he gets to be unlockable for the full game instead of his pre selected chapters. Capcom better wrap that crap up on the load times...

So you're saying we should accept every crapass port they throw at us to be more productive? No, it's not like we're getting the games for free or they're making them for free. If I'm paying 60 bucks for a game I deserve as good of a port as any other system, money is money. If they release the game in that state it's going to get outsold easily by UT3.

Hell yeah man!! Everyone's waiting for GTA4 and Saint's Row 2 next year but this is the open world game that we've all needed. As well as Prototype and Infamous. I'm gonna cue up a metal custom soundtrack to play alongside the game music too.

OK I'll give you GoWII because the extra weapons weren't useless and the combat mechanics required thought and were waaaaaaaay deeper than the first. I maxed out everything in the first and still found the game requiring only 3-4 combos to obliterate everyone and the occasional Poseiden's Rage or Army of Hades.
