Well in a cyber attack your privacy is already violated by the person who attacked you. So if the government can use your already compromised information to track the attacker down,I say go for it. A government agency is going to cause much less damage to your information than some cyber punk.
Unless you have an alternative of course.

If anything I would have expected a performance gap to form later on in this console generation. Not right out of the gate. That doesn't seem to be something you can just 'catch up' with.
