I love the .hack series on the ps2, heres hoping for another AAA experience
^^ agreed I think you got pretty much every genre spot on (I knew I didn't put enough hours into RPG's in my comment above)
Honestly who didn't think Sony would be showing God of War 3 at e3? Sony would be dumb not to showcase one of their biggest/fastest growing franchise's
RPGS=40-60 hours
Action/platformer=10-15 hours
Shooters=roughly the same as action/platformers
These are pretty much the only genres i'll throw down a full 60 dollars for (re-play valuse never hurts either)
Agreed Crisis Core was great
Of course it's the exclusives that fuel the hate because its only out for one console which would cause envy which leads to bashing it because they cant play it

Legend of Dragoon 2, the first game was epic! imo it was overlooked by way to many people ....
agreed I just hope they add more variety to the second one, the first one was an awesome game just got a lil repetitive imo

PS1- great rpgs (havnt been matched since imo) grand turismo, resident evil franchise
PS2-a few great rpgs, God of war, ratchet and clank, jak&daxter, and made GTA what it is today (holds the record of most consoles sold)

For the people who don't think that ff13 will be gimped on the ps3 like any other multi-plat/3rd party title because of limitations on the xbox will have a wake up call when you see what ff13 could have been when ffv13 releases .... I'm saying it now ffv13 will be a better game than ff13

many people always seem to forget that Sony is working on new technology which takes time getting used...
You may be right but overall sony will have more games this year that will hit the 1 million+ mark and I See at least 3-4 of Sony's titles coming out this year to hit at least 3 Million+
So while your playing Halo ODST and Modern Warfare 2
I'll be playing God of War 3(if it releases this year), Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2, Killzone 2, Heavy Rain(if it releases this year), Infamous, and the new Rachet & Clank but w/e game on

It's not possible because It's Exclusive even if it was possible to make the game on xbox360, <-- this is what I think Sony originally ment when they said only possible on PS3 but the sony fanboys like all fanboys have to take it as it's to complex to develop for the xbox360
p.s. I prefer Sony I have PS1, PS2, and PS3 and they all still work which is why when it comes to consoles Sony is my first choice I'm just tired of Fanboys giving Gamers bad reputation for both Xbox360 ...
It was a no brainer Naughty Dog have been known to produce great games with great graphics and considering how well uncharted turned out using only about 30% and there claiming Uncharted 2 will be using around 90% I Bet the day Uncharted 2 releases it will be right up there Killzone 2 followed by God of War 3, and Heavy Rain (which I think will be the next game to pass Killzone 2 in graphics)
I'll stick with Sony they have brought out great games and are developing/publishing more great games and seeing how the ps2 is still selling to this day tells me I won't be forced to pruchase a new system anytime soon considering the ps3 hasn't even hit it's 3rd year
well I'll take every game that Capcom release's with a grain of salt, because after throwing 120$ down on dissapointments (resident evil 5 and DMC4) I'm a bit skeptic
