Early Sales Predict Blockbuster?

Yeah I have to give this game a solid 10. I been playing this game all night yesterday and I can already see that I'll be playing this game for a long time. I seen games like God of War 3, MGS4, and Heavy Rain get 10's but all those games were sold right after since there was lil gameplay after the campaign. Halo Reach on the other hand is just so packed with gameplay it's insane. I don't see any flaws in Reach so far.
Every game has some sort of cheating. Yes even ps3 online games. MAG had a few exploits that people used. Halo 2 was incredibly bad for cheaters. Halo 3 on the other hand had almost no cheating so I expect Halo Reach to be a pretty solid fair experience.
You also have to take into consideration how big Halo is. The amount of players that play Halo and COD are enormous compared to smaller games like MAG and Killzone 2. Just a lot more people looking for an advantage.
You're comparing a multiplatform game to an exclusive in sales? Wow, how stupid are you? How about compare an exclusive like Killzone 2, or Resistance 2 or Haze. How about this... You can add the total sales of Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Haze, and MAG and you still don't get the total sales of Halo 3. :)
Halo Reach is thee FPS this gen. Period. I haven't seen anything in the near future that can get close to it. Maybe in a few more years.
I own a ps3 and I only want Heavy Rain and God of War 3 on your list. Face it. The ps3 had a slow year. And what's the deal with the sub HD mark? Tons of great games on the ps3 are sub HD. Metal Gear Solid says hi.
Halo Reach easily gets mutliplayer of the year and possibly the best multiplayer experience of this gen.
I would have to agree so far. But the year is still not over. I have only bought 2 games this year on my ps3 so it's definitely a slower year than 2009 for my ps3. God of War 3 and Heavy Rain were 2 sweet games but that was released awhile ago.
IGN & Game Informer are the only gaming sites I check. Halo Reach looks to be a heavy contender for GOTY.
HA! While I do agree that Skies of Arcadia is one of the best JRP'S ever. My second favorite next to Lost Odyssey. I have to say that Halo's storyline is your typical soldier vs. aliens but done at a high level. I'm a big fan of musical scores in movies and games and Halo's soundtrack is as good as it gets.

I own a ps3 that failed on me twice with the YYOD and I was forced to buy another one since they don't give you a free one like Microsoft does. My friends are also buying ps3's like crazy because they heard that it's hackable now. Rumor is that this hack was created by Sony to boost there sluggish sales and when the holiday season starts they're going to ban them all.

A lot of people knock Halo's graphics but I can't think of any other FPS game that has huge battlefields like Reach and still have amazing details and textures. We have another contender for GOTY here folks. Looks like we might have the tightest race yet this year.
Are they repeat buys? Maybe. But you think that doesn't apply the the ps3 either? My first ps3 died on me, bought a second one than I upgraded to a Slim. Now the difference is that Sony lost money on each of those consoles I bought while Microsoft possibly profited or came close to breaking even. The ps3 fanboys are starting to show their frustration.
HAHA! I call BS on this one. My friend list is full and I have about almost my entire friend list playing Reach. A few playing Gears and one playing Borderlands and Madden.
