Nvidia has more powerful cards, that's just a given. They are a bit more expensive. The same goes for processors, AMD has cheaper, but less powerful processors, while Intel has more expensive fuckers that kickass.

Why put a intel processor in this build? the new amd bulldozers are exponentially better than the i5 in there. AMD is just a better brand overall
PS3 sucks dude. Xbox 360 is way better, comes with a better graphics chip, and supports better games. As far as PC goes, the problem is that a graphics card alone costs what an xbox costs... therefore it loses out on the performance-price ratio. Sure you get excellent performance froma PC, but you wouldn't notice that loss on an xbox.
Sure games are a bit more expensive, and no steam to DL cheap games from. However, think about it, having to upgrade to run on high settings every 1-2 years... it adds up. Consoles never have to do that
