I wonder if Bioware actually ever considered letting the character be one that the player would create and the story would revolve around despite what species he/she is. I personally would love to be a Turian or Quarian and the story should take place after ME3 in which the intergalactic civilizations are rebuilding and some New Enemy(possibly the remnants of Cerberus or the species outside of Citadel space) are trying to take control of the galaxy while most of the Citadel species and forces...
This may sound ridiculous, but the movie doesn't even follow the classic Mario storyline. It's supposed to be that Bowser (King Koopa) captures peach and Mario saves her, in this movie hwever, King Koopa's underlings capture Luigis's girl Daisy. The ONLY thing this movie had in common with Super Mario was the names of the creatures and characters. I will say that the Groombas are one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen.
I think ME2 was the best because of the way it ended and because of the way how Drew Karpyshyn gave you enough information to satisfy, and yet left you wondering how the third game could possibly end. But I do think think the third Mass Effect suffered greatly from the absence of Drew Karpyshyn.
I've spent more than $500+ on the Mass Effect games and merchandise as well as over 150+ hours of game play, and it was all worth it.
At least Microsoft won't bow down to Sony before they get their head chopped off.
